Excellent usage of the banshees Excellent play by Rain. He id DEFINITELY not a noob (Whoever the idiot who said that was) And stop calling everything cheese when its just a brilliant tech choice to counter your opponents build I'm the 'idiot' who said he's a noob. And he is. 1. Excellent tech choice UM but he didn't know what MC had. So that was flip of the coin. If MC was on a robo build, it wouldn't have worked, and Rain didn't know either way. 2.Excellent usage of the banshees In that first main push with all his army units, the banshees were front and centre... ready for stalkers to take them down. The most expensive units, and Rain just let them die. (OH - and he A-moved that attack.. you could tell from the marauders and rines on the side attacking the geyser structure). 3. Excellent play by Rain. Rain almost lost a game he had to definetely win from the blind build orders of both players. He ALMOST lost. Rain is a noob. Yikes.... posts like this show how little some people understand the game... I'm sorry. Explain to me your better understanding of the game then. He played into MC's cockiness by showing him two rax, and MC didn't find it odd that Rain "showed" his build order. Further, he played the build very well by mixing in marauders to help sell the strat. Finally, he knew exactly what MC was doing with his heavy sentry opening (hint, its a FE) It wasn't a coin flip. It was well thought out and he punished MC quite badly by doing the build perfectly. Yeah, his unit control wasn't spectacular, but when theres 80+k on the line, nerves kind of get to you. MC has more experience so he won't stumble or stutter as much when things get into a pinch. It's only expected. His use of banshee played perfectly into his follow up (the heavy MM push) since Rain knew colossus were going to be out and FF would chew up his push afterwards. Eliminating the sentries makes MC pump units hard without teching up to twilight. It was really quite well played. | ||
