Wow, just watched the games... Couldn't stay up to watch them, since I had a final in the morning. MC is a BEAST! Those were some of the best 1 base timing pushes that I've ever seen in PvT. You heard it here first, he beats Rain 4-0 or 4-1 in the finals.
Went back and looked at MC's match history - he had a REALLY hard road to the finals. He had to play against: OdinMvP (BW pro IIRC), Hyperdub (solid Terran), JulyZerg (LEGEND), FoxeR (king of bionic play), and Jinro (Terran macro master).
If he wins the tournament with that draw (which he really should), I give him total and mad respect. Those are some incredibly good players that he beat.

Artosis looks a lot like this guy

lol "the finals". Well, if it was, it was a rather low level finals.

Great first season for Jinro, heart breaking Semi final

Just bad luck there... BO loss? Jinro would have likely won if he protected his command center in the end. I think it was a weird game though and Jinro wasn't expecting it to go at all like that. Really I think MC got lucky that game, not because of his BO though, that's kind of a shallow response to how MC won. I think it was also quick thinking on MC's part to save enough money for a nexus after he saw the engineering bay go up in his base. He knew if he took out the Orb Command Jinro couldn't possibly win.
A DT opening is really strong against Thor rushes IME (not that MC would have automatically lost wit. And if Jinro moved down the map to protect the CC, his guys would have been picked apart by the DTs.

actually we heard it from him first, in the interview

Jinro got smashed so hard. MC's gonna stomp all over Rain.
|
Rain is the worst TSL member imo. He's average at pro level. He's really lucky that he's up there. His pro skill set's average all around too. I hope MC destroys wins with a margin of 4-1
|
Rain will do much better than Jinro. no doubt about it.
|
All the proof I need that MC will destroy Rain is that he thought he would 4-1 or 4-0 Jinro going into these matchs and afterwards he said Rain would be "very easy."
That is all I need to hear.

i didnt follow mc much but after i saw him play against mk, wow, what a fcking beast of a pvt player. i dont remember much of his pvz or pvp but if he keeps up with what he did vs mk, he'll have no problem against rain as he had trouble with hongun.
i really think hongun could have won if he killed the scvs repairing the bunker instead of sac'ing all his zealots on a bunker with infinite health -,.-

I just finished watching the games, Jinro played poorly compared to his usual play. It almost looked like he semi-gave up in games 2 and 3. MC played really well, knew Jinro's style and just took advantage of it. MC was the better player. I really wish NesTea or FruitDealer made it from the other side, MC vs either of them would be a lot better than MC vs Rain. MC is just gonna crush or he's gonna lose to stupid builds, finals will only be semi-entertaining at best and only if the former happens.

omfg. first game was depressing. why did they have to play the worst game in the only free game.

Hahaha, MC himself said hes gonna 4-0 Rain, so he probably said it first =p

You can't really say that for certain based off a few sets of each player though. Both have beaten some very good names in recent times, TSL is obviously better than most of the bitter types have been giving him credit for.
Even if Jinro is better than Rain, which you could assume based on his solid play up to the MC set, though thats hardly bulletproof analysis, the player A beats Player B therefore A beats C type logic doesn't work, head to head matchups of any sport/game simply don't work that way. To quote an ancient boxing adage, styles make fights.
This isn't to say MC won't give Rain a hammering, he certainly looks capable of it, but that sort of reasoning just doesn't hold up and is illogical.
Rain might not look Foxer good, but he has beaten Nestea, Hongun, Squirtle, Genius, and Choya in recent times. MC looks like to be undoubtedly the best toss in the world though, so in the end it could be a moot point.

Where do i sign up to join MC's fanclub?

MC has given up 2 games this entire tournament, one to Julyzerg and one to Marineking. Not only has his road to the finals been against amazing players, but he hasnt even let a series get close. I have full confidence that he will do very well against Rain.

Does MC ever make a mistake? I never saw one and watched MK and Jinro games. He should name change to T1000.
