hmm clever way to see it!

im loving that both these players are using such unorthodox ZVP strategies instead of just the standard "K im gonna make some roaches while you make those 4 gateways right there"

whats with these breaks in the middle of a clutch top4 best of 5?
do they cut to commercial or something?
seems so anticlimactic

i dont understand rets point... its not like the zerg could not scout in this game. he could easily scout the toss base, because the toss only got 1 sentry which needs hours for a overlord and he can scout the whole base... then he could easily see that there was a gateway build and no stargates... but okay.. just my few cents.

Kinda like when you play against someone that you know how he plays, but he does or doesn't do a signature strat of his to throw you off.

So a blind qounter from FD, guess he didnt win the lotto that match. :/ doing that in a bo5 on a 'zerg favored' (lol) map imo takes some balls, and shows that FD is a thinking player rather than someone like Nestea who just does the same thing every game, I like it Yea, he still has matches to win. Just feels a bit risky as a observer when nestea got eliminated by someone that should not really have won. Would be nice if one zerg could move on to bo4. I just want one or more protoss to advance (and jinro).
The toss will be MC tomorrow, so hongun can lose

Wow! Really? 90% go to Stargates? Hmm.. well not on the SEA server atleast.. Its mostly gateway/robo after FE, and if baneling bust fails theres no way you're going to hold off against either stargates or gateway/robo. Its a bit too all-in imo. A good strat but risky.. Guess Korean server is a lot of FE into Stargate, huh?
I have been watching IdrA's stream and a lot of protoss FE into stargate, one even turtled for a long time and idra had 5 bases up, but came through the choke with like 8 void rays, some phoenix, and colossi/sentries. Melted everything

Game 3 on Shakuras FruitDealer top left HongUn top right

How is stargate play strong on any map vs zerg when you can just make infestors and kill them all once mutas reach critical mass.
This is not a "I WANT TO BE RIGHT ON THE INTERNET" post. I really don't see the reasoning behind that statement.

The games were generally a one-sided macro game favoring Nestea or a one-sided marine-SCV all in favoring Rain. Game 5 didn't really follow this exact pattern, though.

How can a 2 base zerg, cutting drone in order to baneling burst, build a tons of lings have money to switch to roach? Think before posting !!! I mean if he just made a roach bust instead of baneling bust he would probably won. First of all you cant know that, second then he would have to make a lot more drones which would delay the push immensly. So no, you cant know that and it probably would work just as good.

People are just upset with the results, they were good games ..as most in the GSL are. ^^

I wonder why they don't show them, I enjoyed watching the SNSD chicken commercials from the Broodwar matches

pretty easy to hide stargates really, it's and most protosses do go for phx play, which means that you need to recall your overlords. Ret knows why you don't really want to respond with 3-5-7 roaches...
