That statement is just totally negated by his absence in this season.

July was mediocre when he retired ![]() Seriously, Iron's (MC) level when switching to SC2 was well higher than anyone else in that list, though we're not really sure about FD because he really could've been a lot better at BW but retired. And since Jinro never went to Korea to train on a pro team we have no idea how good he could have been either. Which means MVP must be even better?? Probably not, despite Woongjin playing him often, MVP wasn't really good at anything but having good physicals (APM). Pretty much a guy with lots of potential but never made anything out of it. I honestly think Iron, despite losing everything on TV, was the strongest person to switch to SC2. MVP was preety good possibly the best player skillwise that has switched from BW . He even won Flash in macro game and you cant beat Flash in a tvt unless you are really good.

Why would a player who displayed great tactical thinking against boxer made a decision to attack into that with 4 tanks n 1 viking he doesn't even have unit advantage. Its just strange just saying. Maybe you should watch day9's 100th episode and how he described making a big mistake in a big competition. It isn't strange at all that players screw up.

His last Brood War games showed us that he struggled against Yellow, managed to beat Hyvaa, and got completely toyed with by Kal. He'll probably improve (he has already) in SC2 since he probably has renewed interest in the game so who knows what will happen (will he become the best terran again? remains to be seen but I doubt it). He even won Flash in macro game and you cant beat Flash in a tvt unless you are really good. You have to remember that was the period where Flash was really struggling with TvT. Even Midas decisively ruined Flash in the MSL during that time. He basically had a hot streak during that time where he won a lot of games and a lot of people were playing poorly but his whole career as a whole was pretty weak.
