Kyrix would've been fine game one with a bit better unit control/ decision making. It was a weakness with the overall choices he made not necessarily the actual idea of being aggressive early with zerg units. It could have also been a different story if it weren`t for that map and the tank on ledge.
Yeah that's a problem with the veto system being removed, at the same time Kyrix probably could have handled that better.
I'm still happy JSL won, doing something other than two barracks against zerg is a check in my book and he had some impressive micro moments. I'm just sad about the match up because I'm pretty sure Kyrix would of rolled over some of the shitty two barracks plays of day 2 which is basically the bbs of sc2.

Not only the voice, but the looks of this guy when he talks.
He is indeed a joker :D

Kyrix is the Kwanro of SC2 it seems.

Poor NEXLine. I hope he gets better.

Why does Tasteless keep saying "we're going to close this out" leading to the break? Doesn't that typically mean end the show? Probably lose a handful of viewers each time he says it.

OMG JSL's voice. Wow, that couldn't have fit the small size he has any better. You have earned a foreign fan boy.

It's OK, now we get to see random guy plays!
|
what? 4th match coming up? isn't it the 3rd?
|
Holy crap, JSL is making it to the semis at least. He made Kyrix look downright nubbish in those games.
|
I hope Line is ok, that would SUCK you qualify for the GSL ro64 and something like this happens to you, man that is rough. I'm sad they didn't extend the game for another day there are still plenty of matches tomorrow. I hope it isn't something too serious

NEXline forfeit due to health problems.

<3 so much love for the random player...
|
When Kyrix won GStar he attributed it to Zerg being overpowered.
I wonder if his perspective has changed at all after that series.

Where'd NEXLine forfeit info come from?

"well if they can manage to score a td in very quickly there is still a chance..." Even when everyone watches know it is 1 in 100000 they comeback. Announcers do that so you are interested and keep watching even if the chance of one team winning is slim to none.
That is my biggest complaint w/ tastosis. I like that they have energy, even bias at times, and a bit quirky. But the premature calling of GG all the time gets annoying. If I'm gonna watch for another 5 or 6 minutes I'd rather them talk about what the guy could possibly do to make an epic combeback.. not just be like "well thats gg no way he can win now but please stay tuned in for the next 5 minutes as we watch him die slowly." Even if it is hopeless, you don't want the viewer to give up watching. That is my biggest complaint, love the rest of what they do. But this gets to me. You actually made a good point of the 'commentary archon'. I have noticed that they have made several wrong judgement, especially in early rush games. A minute before they said 'GG, no way to defend this', a minute later the defender survive the rush with minor cost and win the game. So what? Part of being a commentator is adding drama. They're letting the viewers know that what is coming could very well end the game. And it's not like being a commentator is a walk in the park or something.
