I'd say InCa did, but I don't see anyone else that was good enough for everyone to be whining. To be honest, not really a lot of whining imo. people are just lamenting that it's sad that so few protoss make it. Not the kind of zerg op terran op flamings that people used to ( are throwing ) at each other. And basically what is being noted is that : Season 1 : 27P 21T 16Z Season 2 : 20P 29T 15Z Season 3 so far: 7P 12T 12Z 1R So there is clearly a shift here. Whether it is due to balance of players quality, no one can know for sure since we did not see the games. It is just sad that there is not equal representation of all the races for a more diverse and exciting tournament. It's 7P 11T 12Z and 1R Race distributions are almost even except for P. There isn't any P who has changed the playstyle like Foxer and Fruitdealer did as of yet. We're still waiting for our Protoss hero :x

Of all the foreigners I think he'd be the most fun to watch. Still, there's no shame in losing 2-1 to somebody from Prime. I think this performance proves to the naysayers that iNcontroL has what it takes to compete at this level.
Congrats to HayprO anhd Jinro, and good luck to all the other foreigners who still have a shot. this result only confirms that his playstyle remains unsuccessful. i don't know why anyone would've thought that he can compete in gsl when he can't even hold his ground in the foreign scene-- i wish him all the best but it is clear that he has still a lot to improve
I just think that the fact that he got to the final qualification round and only went down 2-1, to somebody from Prime, after what the GomTV twitter feed called 'a very competitive match', proves that iNcontroL belongs at this level of competition. I have every confidence that, if he stays on in Korea for even a little while, he'll qualify for a GSL proper - especially if EG can establish as solid a base in Korea as Liquid have done.
--edit--
Nevermind - I see a lot of people have posted the same thing since your post. GOGO GEOFF. YOU CAN DO IT!

Yeah 12 T, only 11 so far but last match is still going and since it is a TvT... it is gonna be 12T.

I would guess Protoss.. since they have the most WarCraft 3-esque units (beefy health, forcefields, blink).
Hmmm, hard to tell. Seeing as I have seen him play throughout 5 years im unsure about which race that'd fit him the most seeing as hes such such an all around good player, both in micro and macro. One could argue that Zerg fits him the best because Moon has been known for his passion to mass expands all over the map and contolling a lot of low health untis (archers, dotts) and such, but also Protoss could fit him because the forcefield micro could bring similarities to the DoTT micro. Terran could fit him as well because of the base close-off and early game harass.
But if Moon himself feels that Zerg fits him the best, I actually trust him.

oh my god, hongun looks so goofy - i think he found a gf who wants to play dress up

artosis seemed so confident,

<---- Adam Lane here. Talked briefly with Artosis and again once matches started with Tasteless.
I'm just an English teacher who felt like playing in the biggest SC tourney around, I'm only ranked gold/plat on the NA server. Was surprised enough that I won two games, was fully expecting how my round two games went, which were two quick losses.
Still, 50% in GSL qualifying. Go me!
