Hard to quickly get a good defense up on Steppes, even if he did everything he could it would've been a nasty push. Jinro has figured something out that other T have missed, definitely a great timing and well thought out build.

I know in GSL2 he got beat by the same Protoss all-in twice.
Don't know who he lost to in GSL1.

Sure, seems legit. I was watching when Day9 actually said that it was MLGs end... Day9 said there were engineers and NASA employees (might have been DJWheat that said it) Would you immediately blame and trash one of the biggest gaming companies in the world? No, you don't. You suck it up and realize you are not at the top of the food chain. And they re-iterated that it was MLG and not Blizzard/BNet2.0 - but I see your point: risk losing your SC2 license, or take the blame....
actually they reiterated that it was neither Bnet OR MLG it was between the two that neither of them had control over. Wheat compared it to having a a fiber line cut during road works.. it was nothing either side could control.

Congrats to Jinro for finally making obvious that he can actually kick some ass. Congrats TL!

So many good games yesterday only to have today leave a bad taste.

Cannot wait for this weeks SOTG!

Only Dragoons erupt in soft big puddles of goo. I'm on a Banshee.

Is it over or, are there some interviews or a wrapup?

Oh no, I thought I had 10 minutes to take a shower and when I come back, they somehow played out the whole finals in that time...

I think so too. I was trying to play during the down time and all my games dropped. Friends were experiencing the same. Coincidence?

So sick of these adverts.

A big congrats to Jinro, such a great showing for Team Liquid!

I don't understand why people get so upset over balance. Sure in Sc1 it's acceptable because it's a 10 year old game that isn't ever changing but Sc2 is still gonna go through months of patches and new strategies so w/e

either way with LAN, the series wouldn't have been interrupted. so yes it was Blizzard's fault.

Why? Jinro is solid but I don't think he is better than Idra/QXC/Select/Huk/TLO/Ret. I mean the guy didn't even qualify for the GSL. Most of the games I watched were very similar builds and unfortunately that wont win you a lot of tournaments. But congrats to him, maybe he can prove me wrong and get to at least RO16 in GSL3.[/QUOTE]
Most of the time Jinro played very differently in each series.

And , to refer to the obvious , someone who is in the top 32 in the gsl can drop out in the top 32 of MLG as well...
