You took what Tyler said out of context and tried to apply it to your own viewpoint. Tyler, and most people who have used or watched double elim tournaments throughout the years, know that the winner of the WB should have an adv b/c it's double elim and so in the grand finals if there is an undefeated player, that person needs to lose two series to be eliminated. MLG's system uses the, "oh we're going to give people random advantages that make no sense camp so instead of a double elim tournament we're going to have a TRIPLE ELIM tournament" That is why people are upset. MLGs rules bastardized a perfectly fine double elim tournament setup and turned it into a double elim/triple elim hybrid. | ||

How is it fair that he gets to lose more games than Nony or any other player? Double elim has been around for ages. It works because everyone has a fair chance. Everyone has to lose the same amount to be knocked out. Extended series means some players can lose more than others. THAT IS NOT FAIR | ||
