Almost autowin vs. Protoss. u do realize if he went normal 3 rax all in he would still win, tt1 expanded while being greedy with tech expecting jinro did the same, losing the obs and not knowing whats FA doing costed him the game

Jinro just played so well, wasn't FrozenArbiter like D+ on iccup 2 years ago? ![]() No absolutely not. When I quit brood war sometime ~2006-2007 he was one of the best protoss in Sweden at least. Really impressed by his sc2 play. It just looks so professional... scanning and shooting down observers just when they come to the base. Using 2 banshees to lure stalkers toward them while another banshee takes down a pylon or two and just keeps building up an advantage. I don't get how he hasn't gotten into GSL when even torch could.

The way they work is you scout them early enough and you prepare. TTone wasn't prepared. Timing push worked. Some people have more class than to do a timing push that is unstoppable. I have yet to see anyone stop it, and the best protoss in the world have been crushed by it.

This is exactly the same answer as the "lol just go robo build into colossi" from zerg players to protoss players asking for advice because they lost against hydra push. Forgetting there that if you open robo blind, it's kinda autoloose vs mutas. Yes, you can do this or this. If TT1 knew from the beginning it would be this push 100% sure he would have won. But if he didn't go colossi, he would have died to soooooo many other builds. That's why players tend to favor colossi over anything else. It's more "safe". Welcome to the protoss world. Paper/rock/cissors and a balance around stupid spells aka one FF makes you win, one FF makes you loose.

I never play T but I actually tried it myself and I stomped every Protoss while I didn't even have a proper build. The PDD in combination with Banshees and marine/stim dps is just insane. I'm glad I only ever faced (got destroyed) by this once so far on the ladder. I have. In GSL Ro 32 I think. Forgot who but all they did was made sure that the Raven was taken out before the main fight and then use blink stalkers.

I'm glad I only ever faced (got destroyed) by this once so far on the ladder. I have lost with it before, usually as a result of getting outmicrod by force-fields. Phoenix openings are also pretty good against it. I don't think I ever lost to a collosus-rush though or any sort of goofy quick-HT play
