I think you'd better apologise.
No he shouldn't. He could very well be better. We should have a showmatch to find out!
I was just kidding, but either way I am 99.5% sure Day9 is better. Mostly because a) he won some stuff in Brood War and b) the casual way he basically called HD bad on Sotg without actually saying it because he's nice.
I am actually pretty sure HD would beat him in a showmatch. But I'm also pretty sure Day would never, ever play him in a showmatch because of that reason
I think it would be pretty close. Spade is probably better than day9, and HD is doing pretty decent against Spade.

Requote.
Anyone? Or just confirm bracks are correct.
I think the game that were casted so far are agh vs aaaahboxer and allaboutyou vs drewbie. Not sure if i miss any but dont think so. The HD game right now is their third then if im not mistaken.

AFAIK Day9 mentioned getting into diamond like a month ago, simply because he doesnt have time to play. He knows the game inside out and obviously is talented as his SC1 history proves, but casting is his first priority.
The part about diamond is completely wrong, at least on his smurf account.
Everything else I agree with though, but HD isn't very good either, as shown by being down in food 100 to 80 with MORE ECONOMY and then the ending food before the final battle was 200 to 120.
How could his opponent make 100 food worth of units with less economy than he could make 40 food worth of units? That doesn't even make sense.

AND SO IT BEGINS THE INEVITABLE HD VS DAY9 i kid, there both good casters. Lets leave it at that
But it would be AWSWEOME if they played against each other. Think of how many people would watch that
I wouldn't... it would be like watching professional wrestlers fight with huge rubber noodles.
They're great casters, and Day9 was a great Brood War player, but both of them would get demolished by IdrA/SelecT/HuK.
I believe Day9 is still a pretty well respected player. He's an analytical caster because his understanding of the game is one of the best. HuK for example says Day9 is the only caster whose advice he will take seriously. Not saying Day9 would beat the top players, but he could take games for sure.

No, no I do not understand this. Stop acting like there is some sort of consensus about this. There isn't, not even here.
astounding how people are so quick to point out fanboying about HD but are blind to it in the other direction. It's not like I don't like Day, but the sheer sycophancy that he inspires is incredible.
lol. I don't watch Day9 daily and am far from a fanboy (I enjoy his casting over most though). However, the notion that HD, who clearly has very limited knowledge about the game given his casts and his rating, is clearly far worse than Day9. That is broaching it on the surface though...fortunately when you go deeper, it becomes even more clear that Day9 would have a massive edge in the matchup. It's sad that people have deluded themselves to think HD is anything other than a casual player who has a lot of subscribers on youtube.
