I know it's only 2:0 and things can change but I wanna know where are all the people who said Foxer had no chance and all those people that keep saying week after week, round after round that he is too "gimmicky" and it's time for him to go down. "ITR will take this easily." "Foxer has no chance."
How about now? It's about time people stop doing that.
If Foxer can't think of any other strategy than MMM, he is eventually going to get owned. Other good players will be able to easily counter it when they know it's coming. Unfortunately ITR is probably not that player. He's choking hardcore right now.

you have to win 4 games i think... there are 7 maps?

I mean, when GSL started, it never crossed anyone mind, especialy after poor babywerra vs fake boxer match in RO 64, but as time passed, and obsticles are removed...wow that would be funny... yeah I never did think about it at first but now ..... that would be an epic finals ! They are both clearly micro oriented players, and they play Terran. I think they would produce some pretty epic games.

boxer vs slayerboxer for the finals
i want the real boxer to win in that but i dont think he will, boxer likes banshee`s and it seems like foxer is immune to banshee`s

i wonder where are the ppl who said Foxer was "bad" after his r1 match.

I think you missed the part where both players denied eachother scouting. "Luck" had nothing to do with it.

Freaking kid still gets me with his name. I just had my heart almost jump out of my body when I thought I had missed the first 2 matches of the real BoxeR's semifinal

Horrible decision making a few times there, I saw the supplies nearly even up... but then he pulled it together. I'm impressed. He looks better every round. That drop on top of ITR natural was a complete disaster, he would have lost the game if he hadn't been so far ahead. Also he engaged ITR siege tanks a few times when he shouldn't have. But he wouldn't have done it if he wasn't that far ahead. Someone mentioned earlier that it might've been a "bm drop". "I'm so ahead of you I could do this and still win."

Yeah its used as a sweeping blanket term encompassing things like pace of the game, tactics behind timings etc.

Hoffmaestro always fitting!

Unless something amazingly unlikely happens, it's pretty clear that Foxer has this one in the bag. Unfortunately, now I have to root for NesTea because mirrors are pretty blah to me.

He truly was bad during his r1 match. Probably concealing his true power level though.

It's pretty commonplace in all sports commentary in Britain and I doubt chess is the source. I watch a lot of rugby and talk about "playing at a higher tempo" and "dictating the pace of the game" come up every 5 minutes or so.
Also I half-remember the then-manager of Aston Villa football club, Martin O'Neill, talking about his half-time team-talk tactics:
"I like to say to the boys, 'up the tempo'. It gets the message across without actually meaning anything specific".
