I find the the StarCrafty touches - like this and the "Achievement!" that comes up when a player takes a series - a little deliberate to the point of being a bit cheesy, but they seem to think it's cute.
Well, for Proleague they gave stars based on number of wins. This isn't much different.

There are restreams, but you'll have to look for them yourself - TL is no longer listing them in the right-hand column, presumably because GOM asked them nicely. As far as I know there is still no link for VLC users (even once the HQ/SQ streams came up), so restreams are the only option for non-Windows folks right now.
