I didn't get to stay up last nigh to watch,.. 3 am is late :D... but I didn't get on TL until i finished the VODs... great play from Boxer!! Really happy to see Boxer doing well, that's awesome!. r not impressed by Inca.. it's like he got worse since season 1.... and he was the toss I thought would do the best. Apparently NexGenius is really really good though, so got some hope.

Did Idra even know that was boxer when that game started? Why is Idra's reputation even being discussed in this? I'm in Idra fan because first of all, he is a great player. He has also come a long way with how he portrays himself in public.

So far I haven't been too impressed with what I've seen in GSL S2. Fruit Dealer's opponent was just bad. Boxer did quite well. He seems like such a nice guy (never heard of him before).

Looking forward to TLO in 8 hours!

Idra was just disrespectful towards Boxer. Boxer is 30 years old, IdrA is like 20 ?
You are not rude like that if someone older than you is polite and recognizes your name, even if he spells it wrong.
And if you look at what Boxer did in his past - If you look at his reputation in the esports community, Idras behaviour is extremly poor. If I came from the US, I would feel ashamed that this guy represents my country.

I'm glad that we have TLO representing Europe in the GSL.
(there is a game out there against Boxer where he also has a small conversation with Boxer)

btt:
Boxer played extremly good today! I was extremly afraid that he would disappoint me. Yes he had to drop supplydepots, but screw it if you micro like him, you don't need mules?! Second game was also just impressive. He multitasked 3 different fights and won each of them.

Great first round nice to see boxer just dominate his first series. First time i saw a wall off double proxy barracks in the cool game, that doesn't seem like a solid strat with only 2 scv's i just cannot imagine any good player not killing off the scv's before that finishes.

Really i don't see much disrespectful at all idra clearly knows boxers english is not good gives him the appropriate spelling and then gives a ? at the apology since he probably was not at all offended by a mispelling. After that he gives a customary glhf. People read way to much into a couple lines of text in a game you have no context of any other conversations they had before or after that. Idra is blatantly obvious when being disrespectful just watch the drewbie replay.

idra been behaving better since 'drewbie' accident lol but really we know he doesnt like to talk much in game (except he is losing he rages or he won the game already), he prob didnt even realise he is the boxer. keep in mind that thats prob his 100th game of the day, who cares whos opponent he is playing with. he did say 'glhf' ie simply means 'lets get back to our game'. whats wrong with that?

i personally look at his skills rather than his personality, is not like we are voting for some people to run our country. and many politicians are badass, they are just good at pretending. and bare in mind that idra is just like 20yrs old? get over it, Boxer was too a BM player.

where the hell is this 'idra hate' comes from??

is 2017, stop being lame, fuck's sakes. 'Can't wait for the rise of the cakes and humanity's last stand tbqh.'

IU Fighting!!

~_~

The production value this year has gone up ten fold. Not only do they have IU announcing players, but the intros and overlays are awesome.

Yeah the production of gsl and any other tournament is miles apart. Sadly i don't see us or eu ever catching it due to the spread out nature of tournaments. Wish they could come up with a standard city for top tournaments in the us so there could be something similar.

His macro skills aren't top notch. His micro is what made him a top player. He faded in BW when it became more macro-oriented. He's very creative and has very good on the fly decision making but his mechanics are nowhere near as good as current BW pros.

Just like Stu Ungar faded from fame and then made his sick comeback in 1997, wouldn't it be possible for Boxer to comeback and take this GSL even though he is getting old? I have my hopes up, and also the fact that his opponents knows who they are up against might make it harder for them. This could very well happen, or do I wish for too much?

I can see where people are coming from, especially with idra's history, when they are labelling idra's short answers as a lack of manners, most of us would probably have been a lot more courteus and greeted boxer with smileys and most likely some arse-kissing as well : ). But judging someone from just the few rows of text is always premature, we don't know what went through idra's mind at the time, perhaps he didn't know who he was playing, perhaps he was tired/focused/distracted/whatever or just didn't feel like being chatty. Calling someone an idiot or a faggot is bad manners, being somewhat short in a random laddergame is, at least to me, not.

Idra corrects Boxer on the spelling of his own name and people say he's being disrespectful and BM? Yikes. Just how exactly do you expect him to respond?
