Nah I disagree.. There is a point to the tourney being open.. Some talented unsponsored gamers in korea may not easily be able to produce that $50, even as a deposit.. Do you really want to risk denying even a single poor gamer the chance at making it to the RO64? Maybe there's ways to do things differently .. but setting a financial restriction (even if it's refunded afterward) seems against the spirit of the tourney | ||

Just send an email to everyone who registers two days before the event, so they have to click on a link to confirm they are coming. If you register but don't confirm then your place gets dropped, simple. | ||
