Would love to see PL-like league so we could see more games from Liquid players. i believe we will see it happen soon, just need to give it some time. With the attention of such a huge prize pool and some of the greatest BW Celebrities of all time making the switch, it's only a matter of time.

i dont understand why people are so surprised when artosis doesnt make it in the tournament... i am by no means making this a bash-artosis post as i have nothing against the dude.... just never considered him more than a mediocre player... unless he has some accomplishment in sc2 i havent heard of? I was under this impression as well, but when I rewatched his Ro64 games against NexFreeSaga, he's actually a very strong mechanical player with great multitasking skills. The only thing that will keep him out of many future GSLs is practice time. Too bad about Jinro and Haypro, but they'll have luck on their side sooner or later. Both are too strong to be left on the outside looking in for too much longer. How many games does a player have to lose overall to be eliminated from the qualifiers? Is it just a series of best-of-threes?

It might be prohibitive given the number of applicants, but it would be nice to see the qualifers expanded into round robin to account for strength of bracket. The organizers have almost certainly seeded the brackets to avoid having one big name eliminate another before the Ro64 even starts, but it's a shame that strong players have to sit out for a month due to a single Bo3.

I'm a bit worried, from what I've seen so far he hasn't been the powerhouse he once was. Imo he needs quite a bit more training... [edit] I don't understand the qualification process, can you explain further? Is it just one opponent after the other as soon as the previous winner moves on to the next person? It just doesn't seem like a fair way to adequatly find the best of the best...

It seems really counterproductive that the GSL is the only time koreans ever get to play actual games, when you see the huge smörgåsbord that the western players has to choose from.

It's quiet obvious that Undead were based on Zerg from SCBW, and while they might not play like zerg now, they played out exactly like zerg when WC3 came out. There might be some similarities but UD for example do not need to FE, ever in War 3 - if anyone needs to FE it's human or NE, then Orc the UD. UD can one base the shit out of people, also their buildings are 'summoned' like Protoss. There's elements of all 3 SC races in War 3 and elements of War 3 races in SC2, to out and out say that UD = Zerg though is just wrong.
