Sure he keeps it pretty basic. I think all regular SC players prefer the Day9 commenting, but we need someone who describes the gameplay in a basic manner. Imagine watching SC2 after just playing part of the campaign, you wouldn't understand Day9 at all.
The problem is that his play by play isn't any good because he doesn't know what he's watching. You have to understand the game to know what is important...what is awesome...what to focus on...etc. It would help if he could have some sort of dialogue with Day9 as well...but you'd have to understand the game to do that...which he clearly doesn't.

Gunrun actually sounds very much like the beard guy who does Viking cup. Actually thought it was him for a while.

Mech in TvP is regarded as bad since the patch, we'll see if someone comes up with a build to make it work. I have noticed a few terran this tournament adding on tanks in the late game.

Phoenix is such a prohibitive counter to tanks though, I dunno if mech vs p can ever be a staple like it used to be in BW.
