Today there were only a couple high points that deserved such energy by the casters like at nukes against idra and prbbly couple fights at the second game.

- HQ Stream was a disgrace. Firstly it looked bad, it was so pixelated and hardly an improvement over the LQ free stream. - Secondly the HQ stream was lagging so bad that I had to go back to the free stream. So basically the service I paid for was virtually useless. - Finally I thought the commentary was very lackluster, there wasn't much energy or enthusiam. Tasteless seemed disinterested, and unprepared. I just felt the commentary was just describing the absolute obvious, no depth was shown at all.

I no longer think he is the best sc/sc2 caster, but hes deff still in the top 3. He hasn't casted a game in what a year? year and some change? I expect his performance to rapidly improve as he gets back into the swing of things, especially since hes casting 5 days a week now. Well I actually think Day[9], Artosis, JP and Husky are all better, probably some more too. First off, Tasteless really isn't a great player, repeats the same sentences, says obvious stuff, lots of "uhh"s "umm"'s, only does play-by-play or silver-league level analysis, no humor, tends to repeat what the other caster says, his voice imo is awful and he just sounds clueless. It's just some really bad commentary.

Day[9] and Artosis are the only ones in his league imo. The other casters i've listened to are hampered by being mediocre players. It really irks me when the commentator will get the analysis of the game state completely wrong, like saying one player is ahead when he is clearly way behind.

Only like a few moments did it remind me of how I remember him but overall it was unlike what I know of him normally. Might be my imagination but he probably needs more time to get back into the flow. Did you even watch the GomTV Season 1 2 and 3 stuff...

Tasteless does get that stuff wrong and he's quite a mediocre player as well. I really don't know why you'd think he's even close to Day[9] or Artosis. Even Day[9] isn't that amazing as a player but he's got a lot of competitive experience and he knows more about the game than he's able to accomplish. Artosis is in a whole other hemisphere in terms of playing ability and would wipe the floor with both Day[9] and Tasteless.

Unless I'm interpreting your comment wrong but are you suggesting I'm saying Tasteless didn't cast much or something?

It was far from perfect and it's been a long time since Gom has broadcasted for foreigners and it's been a long time since Tasteless has casted. Both have been great for me in the past so I'm going to give them a go and some time to pick it up. Exactly. Day 1 wasn't too bad. Not great, not a steaming catastrophic mess either. Tastosis could do better. I'm sure they will. But for the first day it was good to see it all mostly working. Quite clearly there is a desire and a commitment to make this damn good. I felt that these first signs from the tourney show things are going to get really, really good as we go forward.

I have nothing against Artosis, but your comparisons about him being on top of D9 and Tasteless are purely fail. Artosis have been even knocked out in SC by Rekrul who hasn't been playing for months! Not to mention that Day[9] is A+ Zerg from BW, winner of 2007 PAN. At best Tasteless = Artosis in skill. So go away with your BS man. Cheers
