Day[9] and Artosis are the only ones in his league imo. The other casters i've listened to are hampered by being mediocre players. It really irks me when the commentator will get the analysis of the game state completely wrong, like saying one player is ahead when he is clearly way behind.
Tasteless does get that stuff wrong and he's quite a mediocre player as well. I really don't know why you'd think he's even close to Day[9] or Artosis. Even Day[9] isn't that amazing as a player but he's got a lot of competitive experience and he knows more about the game than he's able to accomplish. Artosis is in a whole other hemisphere in terms of playing ability and would wipe the floor with both Day[9] and Tasteless.
"not that great of a player"
I hope you know Tasteless made A- in iccup and had qualified WCG many times, what you saying is insulting, and frankly, not even true.
Calling JP a better caster ... lol its like you have a personal grudge against Tasteless and so you think of the most ridiculous claims to smear his image.
If Tasteless was so bad, as you say, I don't think he would be the main caster for WCG, Gom, soul e-sports, and Blizzcon.
I thought Tastosis we're pretty good. I was a bit disappointed that Tasteless wasn't screaming and dropping hilarious little gems all over the place, but the games weren't great and he's just getting back into the swing of things.
The stream was pretty annoying, kept crashing and lagging and I missed the first Maka vs Focus match, so hope that improves

Tasteless was slightly not amused because he didn't see any pandabearguy

Dude is an amazing(and funny) caster. We are in the Ro64 of a tournament for a new game. It is tough to make things exciting when the likelihood of matches being 1sided is fairly high.

Haha yeah that's it.
'He's like Switzerland in this, completely neutral'
Tasteless was bad today but im willing to say it was lack of commentating in a long time, he was amazing during the bw gom events, overall games were pretty one sided but what can you expect in a ro64.
wow, this thread is like watching little kids debating
"Caster A is better!!!" "no Caster B is twice as good as Caster A" "no no no, Caster C is better than Caster A + B together!!!" "noooo, Caster A ist 100 times better than Caster C" "buahahaha, nooooooo, Caster B is 10000 better!!!!" "nnnnnnooooooooo, Caster A is infinite times better" "Caster C is 2 times infinite times better"
just cut the crap... maybe they didn't do to well for the start, but we know what Tasteless is capable of, and I can't wait for his awesome comentaries. If you missed his Gom TV season casts - just look for Tasteless Quotes on youtube - you will laugh your ass off.
Pandabearguy is watching you ! Don't make him a sad Pandabearguy.
