Before creating a support post, please review the FAQ questions and answers below. You can test your MLG.HD feed here: http://www.mlgpro.com/?q=MLGHD MLG.HD System Requirements: The following system requirements are a minimum to view the MLG.HD stream. -Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz equivalent or greater processor -2GB of RAM or more -Windows XP/Vista/7 or Mac -Firefox 3.6+, Chrome 5.X, Safari 4.05+ or Internet Explorer 8.0+ -Flash Player 9.0+ -Latest Octoshape player -Internet connection with at least 2.25Mbit download MLG.HD System Recommendations: For optimal performance, MLG recommends that you have at least the following system specifications for a flawless stream experience. Please note that MLG encodes in h.264 which can often tax your computer more than standard streams. -Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz equivalent or greater processor -4GB of RAM or more -Windows XP/Vista/7 or Mac -Firefox 3.6+ or Internet Explorer 8.0+ -Flash Player 9.0+ -Latest Octoshape player -Internet connection with at least 3Mbit download and 350Kbit upload To begin, please make sure you have the following installed: 1. Make sure you have Adobe Flash installed: Get Adobe Flash Player (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/) 2. Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed: Get Java (http://www.java.com/en/) 3. Make sure you have the Octoshape Plugin installed: Windows Octoshape Plugin (http://static.gamebattles.com/gb/lightsout/octosetupMLG.exe) Mac Octoshape Plugin (http://static.gamebattles.com/gb/lightsout/octosetupMLG.dmg) Also check your local host: Open a command prompt and type in ping localhost. If you can't run the ping localhost command ie. If you don't get a result/response, you may have to edit your hosts file, which is located in C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc. Open the hosts file in Notepad, add the line 127.0.0.1 localhost and save. Once done, if you are still having problems, you need to determine what isn't working. If you load GameBattles.com or MLGpro.com and you do not see the player, then its likely that flash is not working properly. To determine that the player is not loading, look under the main advertisement. -You should see a large black box with "MLG Stream is now loading..." -When you mouse-over this black box, player controls should appear at the bottom of the box. If you answered no to any of these questions, you probably have a problem with Flash. You need to check to see if the plugins are installed/active. If you answered yes, you can skip to the next bit about Octoshape Troubleshooting FLASH TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS ------------------ In Firefox: Go to Tools -> Add-Ons -> Plugins. Make sure the following are enabled: Java Embedding Plugin Shockwave Flash If you had to enable these, restart Firefox and come back to our site. Do those tabs or texts or news feed load now? ------------------- If those tabs load and you can see the stream, you're done. If those tabs load and you cannot see the stream, but get a message in the middle such as "nostream" "loading MLG Live Stream" or a white/black page, continue on reading. OCTOSHAPE TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS ------------------- If you're reading here, I'm assuming you can load our Flash Player, but cannot view our stream. This is likely due to a problem with the Octoshape plugin. Have you installed it? Windows Octoshape Plugin (http://static.gamebattles.com/gb/lightsout/octosetupMLG.exe) Mac Octoshape Plugin (http://static.gamebattles.com/gb/lightsout/octosetupMLG.dmg) Have you tried restarting it? To do this, go to your system tray. This is the area in the bottom right hand corner of your computer's desktop, to the left of the clock. XP/Vista users should just be able to see it or click a Left Arrow to expand it. Windows 7 users should be able to click an Up Arrow to view their Icons. There should be an icon there that is silver and shaped like an oval. It will say something like "Octoshape Streaming Services" or "Ready to Play." Right click on this and Exit/Quit. Reload the cache in your browser, which in Firefox can be done like so: In older versions: Tools -> Options -> Clear Private Data - and check Cache. In the newest version(s): Tools -> Options -> Clear Recent History -> Drop down to Everything and click Details. Check the "Cache" box. Make sure "No Scripts" plugins are disabled Note that in Firefox, some versions of No Script can cause the stream not to load. Please make sure to disable them by going to: Tools -> Add-ons -> find No Script and click the "DISABLE" button. When complete, restart Firefox and come back to MLGpro.com or Gamebattles. ------------------ I hope these steps help some of you guys, and allow you to view our Live Stream. For those that it doesn't work, I suggest trying Internet Explorer and following the installation steps at the top and the Octoshape steps at the bottom. Chrome has known issues, so try to avoid that. Mac users, Firefox can be troubleshooted the same way, except in order to turn off the plugin, you should have to restart your machine. Safari seems to have no problems. If none of this worked for you, please post in the MLG.HD Support Forum Make sure to provide the following information: -Operating System version and service pack level -Browser and version number -Your internet connection type and speed (see www.speedtest.net for connection speeds) If you did not recieve a authentication code for your MLG.HD purchase, or your authentication code is not working: Make sure you: -Check your spam folder for the email reciept ON THE EMAIL ADDRESS FOR YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT. You should hvae one from Paypal for the payment and one with your MLG.HD authentication code. -Try resetting your code here: http://www.mlgpro.com/live/purchaseHD/reset

1) Download SMPlayer http://smplayer.sourceforge.net/ 2) Play URL: http://127.0.0.1:6498/ms2/0/0MediaPlayer 0 /mlg.600c/mlg600c/ I've been unable to play it in any browser reliably, tried VLC and it kept freezing, I finally tried this and its been streaming perfectly for 15+ minutes.

You can also use VLC Player. Just go Media->Network Stream and put in the url.
