Wow, IdrA just was on top absolutely everything qxc did.

I think qxc and IdrA practice together a bit? I don't think I've seen a ZvT where qxc didn't sort of take control of the match with his sick drops.

Idra doesn't have fantastic micro, as shown in the game vs TLO in which he failed to focus fire battle cruisers. However his timing is absolutely fantastic. It is IMO almost impossible to play mech against him, because he attacks at the right time, where tanks aren't sieged. IMO this shows that terran mech isn't overpowered if you know how to react probably. Most less skilled players will keep having problems against mech, but when ppl learn proper timing, mech wont be overpowered. In a year or so when ppls skill lvl increases I kind of expect zerg to be dominating terran. Ultras just seems to own all terran ground units. Maudader wont work because of FG. Right now only chance for terran against extremely skillled zerg players like Idra is doing a mech timing rush, or getting air domination. (like TLO did vs Idra).

Always hate to see someone get 3-0ed. However i'm glad to see Idra advance. Really curious to see how fast he can make changes to make up for the last time he hit tester (since I have no doubt tester will be in the finals).

The "imba"ness of terran mech was generally kind of a theoretical thing. Like, if Flash switched over to SC2 and played terran hardcore, would a switched-over Jaedong or something zerg be able to beat him? The only real big name BW player for Terran is IntotheRainbow. And sure, he's also really the "biggest name" BW player who has played the beta a ton. But he was a 'toss, so it doesn't carry over as well.

While I love Idra this is a pretty absurd when taken as a blanket statement. We saw how he did in the 1773 (or w/e it was) tourny. Those korean zergs are amazingly good. He seems to be getting better and better tho which is sweet. How well he does against tester ater losing last time will be very very interesting.
