The rest of the rules are currently being written, and will be posted when complete.
PRIZE I will give the winner 75 (50 from me, and 25 dollar donation from pingy[wen]!). We will take donations to make the pool bigger, or we will accept sponsorships (pm me for more info.)

Map: Lost Temple for game 1, then lose chooses. No map can be played more than twice.
Winner must email all five replays. You have twenty four hours to play the games. Tomorrow by 9 central time the replays must be in. All games, besides finals, must be done by tomorrow!
Brackets will be updated by 10 Eastern today!
From this point forward the outcomes of the games must NOT be shared. If this rule is broken, and you win the tournament, you automatically forfeit your earnings.

How will the rounds be done: Once were matched up in round 1 will we have a certain amount of time to play our match? Will there be a "host" running our matches (a referee?)? Will this be casted by anyone (RO8 and above maybe)? Will pairings be random?

Good questions. Most of them are being ironed out as we speak. Rules are being written, and are almost complete.
What I can tell you is that the semifinals and finals, will be casted and streamed. However, we may show a few quarter final games if any are epic. It will be the replays and not the live game. We want to deter any potential cheating by the players since money is involved.

Might I suggest you start this tournament Monday instead of friday. Its a long weekend for both Canadians and Americans and I expect alot of people will be out of town, or missing from the bracket.

the tourney has 2 days for both round 1 and 2 to get done, so i dont see why starting on the friday would be a problem. However i would like to see rules posted for map selection and whatnot.

Because, me for example, I will be gone 3 days total. Meaning I will be able to play my friday game, but Im gone saturday sunday monday, Meaning i would miss the second round (sunday Monday). I am pretty sure I am not the only one going away for the long weekend...
If you want to do the first round starting friday, I would suggest not starting the second round until monday when everyone gets back.
Round 1 Friday-Sunday, Round 2 - Monday -Tuesday etc etc.

we're trying to avoid clashing with the micro.macro2 tournament that starts on the 10th. A lot of players are playing in both tournaments, but we have to see when the beta is even released... as far as maps go, this is the tentative plan:
1st map for each round as:
Kulas Ravine Round 1
Steppes of War Round 2
Metalopolis Round 3
Blistering Sands (quarters)
LostTemple (semis)
after the first round, losers choice. you cannot play the same map twice in the same round, with the exception of the finals. each person is allowed to thumbs down 1 map.

my net went down during game 1. i dunno whats wrong with it, and yeah, incontrol had a slight advantange in the game, i believe it was 62 pop vs 53. so basically, ill be on if u still want to play game 2-3, if not you can take the win and gl next round.

Sheth has to be play dukke and I play winner right?
+ Show Spoiler +I already played my match with Sheth because we were trying to save time and had he won vs dukke it'd be faster if we had OUR results. I won 2-0 vs Sheth BUT I cannot finish the tourney. I am leaving today for a family vacation that will carry me until sunday. That said if Sheth beats dukke he can advance vs me via w/o but I want my glory I did beat him! But it is better tohave him advance than double w/o basically and give someone a free semifinal! Likewise if Dukke wins I think he should advance vs me via w/o as I cannot be there. In any case gl to all! I'm sad cause I played pretty damn well Beating ssheth and suggy in the same tourney is nice imo, too bad I couldn't finish it out.
