In the Interviews day9 and tasteless have both mentioned how much tasteless has been playing. Day9 on the other hand hasn't had much time to play lately. Hopefully it won't be a huge upset :o but if it is I won't be too surprised.

any reason you first announced it on youtube so late ? wouldn't it be better to do it some days before, so more people could know about it?

I know 20k, pretty rediculous for such a small tournament. Imagine when MLG get their hands on SC2. With all the top players, and huge prize money. Damn, that's going to be exciting. SC2 for MLG 2010! I heard day 9 and HD are going to commentate. I can't fucking wait

It was 50k unique views and 25k simultaneous live viewers during the stream, I'm pretty sure ustream has never had such an amount watching one stream at the same time.
Now we remember that the game is still in beta stages. I am pretty sure we're heading towards the biggest western esports boom that has ever happened as the game gets released.
