+ Show Spoiler + Really andro only played very well in the third game (I was quite suprised by how effective that dt/tier 1 ball was). That game he played very well Game 1 was bad with the loss of wall and ff'g himself in, cool played well. I have no idea what happened in game 2 for cool, I really think andro got quite lucky that cool seemed to try some sort of cheese build or ling/queen all in. But in the end he did win and game 3 was great so good job andro, will be interesting to see if your next round goes as well with the dt given that people will expect it now.

Well-played by Andro, if a bit predictable. Cool clearly underestimated Andro in the second game, trying to be all flashy and not scouting his opponent at all. The third game was mostly Cool not realizing how destructive DTs were when mixed in with other units - he thought he could defend with just lings and 2-3 crawlers when he really needed roaches, hydras, or just plain more crawlers. I guess they don't play DTs much in Korea so he probably didn't know how much damage those things could do. Once the damage was done, it was too late to come back though he made some good attempts sniping Andro's army. Hopefully this game will teach both Protoss and Zerg around the world of how powerful early game DTs can be - the ability to one-shot lings really makes it very hard to do any damage to them with just lings.

Once the tournament starts back up there will be some new rules put in place for players that arent able to play thier matches. It is quite rediculous the amount of work saechiis has doing, trying to set-up matches for those who cant contact someone themselves. There is a thread where you are to post your contact information called the GG invitational Contact Thread, so everyone should have, at the very least their opponents TL account AND their sc2 account. I would assume each of you knows how to pm somebody on TL, and list times you might be available. As is listed in the rules, it is your responsibility to contact and schedule YOUR match. Many players have pm'd me asking me questions that are listed in the rules. It is required that you read the OP if you want to compete in the tournament. I believe it is fair to assume you would be willing to do this considering you are playing for a lot of money. As with everything there are certain exceptions (language barriers, timezones, ect.) that we dont mind helping with at all, but we need to see effort from the players as well. On another note, many players are still emailing in replays in the wrong format. It helps us very much when you send in the replays correctly like stated at the top of the OP. This is not the most important of matters, but it is something i would like the players to work on for once the game is launched and the tournament continues.

Remind me not to read comments posted on youtube. Apparently Cool is a noob that random people on youtube easily could beat. Congrats Andro, well played.

+ Show Spoiler + Cool really didn't have any excuse for losing that one. I was a bit dissapointed though that Cool immediately GG'd when he did the mineral only build. He had 5 queens and a ton of lings. He could have engaged the base-race IMO since there was just one DT on the field.

Really, I'd only focus on the TeamLiquid thread. These guys have respect for good players, YouTube doesn't know what good play looks like.

Seriously I ignore them and so should everyone else. Most people on Youtube have an IQ lower than the rocks we sell at my job.

Also we're looking for someone with a knack for graphic design. When you look at the RO16 main event roster you might find something is missing ![]() as long as we like it ^^
