You have a really strange concept of what cheese is.

I still don't get it though.

How does the US server not lag, when EU servers are closer to Korea???

Basically Asia has a better connection to NA than to EU.

As far as i know travelling packages in the internet tend to not move in straight directions, but there seems to be certain nodes through which they are more likely to travel than others. So distance is not the only factor for high or low latency.

edit: see pic above -_-

and sen made the semi-finals last cup because he used his personal underground superline from taiwan directly to blizzard euro headquarter... korea has great inet infrastructure and latency to europe is usually very good.

and please don't forget... all players can check latency before signing up for a cup... just don't play on euro if it's lagging. instead playing bad and blaming inet... come on...

no.

Euro is somewhat ahead of the world but both NA and Korea have made a huge leap in progress in like literally last 2 weeks.
Especially Idra, as much as i hate to admit it :D

no, euro's ahead of usa on the whole but asia has everyone beat hands down.

perhaps. The PGR21 group stages looked pretty abysmally but the couple Top 8 reps i managed to watch so far looked fairly sexy.

seeing how he earlier manged to pull off lings before losing them to zealots i hardly doubt in his "latency" excuse.

Aha, yeah it's quite out of date, but I think some trends from it still hold.

Blaming latency is if course very bad style, never said anything about it. You have to get the facts though before stating anything, its pretty obvious that someone playing from Asia is at a disadvantage latency wise playing against someone from Europe on the Eu Servers. I dont believe its that bad personally so Sen doesnt need to use his secret personal underground superline :-)

To be fair, I tried to play on Asia and couldn't even play against the computer without INSANE lag. I can't imagine IdrA would even try to play if this was the kind of lag he's getting, but I'm sure it's not exactly good.
