Hey all,
I wanted to show my friend the offensive widow mine drop that Maru did this GSL (I forgot which round but it was one of the later ones) does anyone remember which match it was?
To describe the scene, it was when the two armies clashed, a medivac with 4 widows mines boosted on the opponent's army and dropped those mines. The opponent panicked, didn't know whether to retreat or keep fighting and Maru won the fight.
I want to show my friend to get him back into SC2 again as new things are still popping out!

Maru tried to do this in the finals last week vs herO. I believe it was Game 3. It did not work too well in this case though.

That first mine drop of the four, always dropped just as MedVac approaches workers, gives workers a chance to get pulled away before burrow and detonation. Every time I see this tactic I always wish the first mine were dropped at the point where the workers are going to escape of where first workers are seen. Then dropped in a four corner pattern. You can't predict that as well as the defender I think. Anyways, that's what I'm going to try on ladder.

Why is it offensive? I still cant see how can anyone be offended by this strategy..
