This guy opens with a 10 pool on me from the beginning and manages to pull this game off through a smooth transition to blings and mutalisks. However, in my situation, I thought I had already won since I held off his first wave of lings. Yet, in the end I still lose to a lot of mutalisks. What decisions did I take that led me to lose this game? I felt that I should have blocked my ramp with roaches as soon as I saw the banelings come out. Any other suggestions for me?

watched the replay, and in my opinion you did not lose to mutas. you didn't hold off the ten pool all that well as he had more workers at the end if it. I'd say in ZvZ a ten pool isn't all that much of an all-in as in the other matchups. Then you threw away about 20 speedlings over the next couple minutes when you could have just made a round scouted around his base while drowing up. You almost lost an overlord to his queen but then your speedlings went in saving it, but you then failed to move it out of the way and lost it like a minute later when your lings died. You then went roaches which i thought was a good choice when you say his banelings but then you move commanded then arcoss the map where they got intercepted and all but 1 died before even getting an attack off. you could have just put them on hold position at your ramp while getting more drones and teching up and then possibly expanding. He was ahead in drones the whole game and got his expansion earlier. Any units he would have made would have won him the game.

Hi psp219, I'm HardCorey and ive just started trying to do a video series of answering questions on various threads that provide replays. I took a look at your replay and I just uploaded the video. I'm a Zerg diamond player myself and I absolutely hate losing to 10 poolers because the tech switches and game play when you make it into the mid-game and late-game can be so interesting.
