A relatively small map designed to enable very quick 1-2 base attacks, while also allowing a safe transition into macro play once the 3rd is taken.

Features:

Forward nat position - reduces rush distance
Forward single-width ramp - allows for strong defense if set up properly
Easy, protected 3rd - further from your opponent than your nat, enabling the transition to a macro game
Close linear 4th and 5th

This map is one of the best iterations of a rush map that i've seen. Can't wait to see some games on it in the TLMC

Does the name mean "non-biological origin" as in the stuff on the map was made or put there artificially? "Abiogenesis" doesn't roll of the tongue very well but it's an interesting name.

And it's cool of you to list your tilesets in your posts, always nice to see. I hope it catches on more.

yeah kind of. normally it just refers to the earliest development of cells from their basic components, like molecules randomly combining to form amino acids under the right conditions billions of years ago. but in this case i was thinking of some sort of alien origin, nothing specific though... in actuality i just wanted to name it after another track by these guys, just like my previous rush map interloper.
