2 in 1 map!!! This is an update of an oolder map design of mine.
Introduction / Map Concept:
This map is sort of a spiritual successor to maps like metropolis and metalopolis that were the staging ground of so many memorable matches. The map is a little smaller and makes, but still allows for meching, and positional tactics.

So the goal of this redesign is to make the expansion patterns around the map similar, but the the earlier game will be rather different, as the 10 and 4 positions are more vulnerable in the natural and the small main backdoor.

I'm not a fan of how the map is shaped. At 3 bases and up, the left and right sides of the map become basically the same, there's almost no difference in the positioning or considerations involved with one side over the other, and that's the strength of rotational symmetry. Fen does this too, it just doesn't jive with me. There's just so much more you could've done with the map.

Whats that doodad, that's used to border the grass with, called? I've been searching for it forever!

for the map, this is a really clear example of why I'm not a very big fan of 2-in-1 maps, because the main-nat-3rd setups ends up becoming really dull playing field for the other spawn positions. However I find the aesthetics quite pleasing, I especially like what you've dont with the centre of the map.
