Anyways, you inspired me to play ZvT instead of PvT, sounds way more fun to play :D

The replay was highly entertaining however, I especially liked the part where you ensnared a group of vessels so they couldn't get to marines in time and scourged them.

I can't imagine why two people in this thread have commented on how good your macro was though, I was weeping over it.

From what I saw, the Queens actually did very little to contribute to the win.

With early attacks and the disabling of Strelok's first expansion, made possible by Dark Swarm, you put him out of his rhythm and made his inexperience show.

Queens are about as useful in a game of Starcraft as a pair of sweaty balls are on The View.

.. I wouldn't have won the first decisive battle without ensnare and then I would never have gotten to pressure his expansion. that was the key point in the game. without ensnare he could have ran from the dark swarm and delayed my advance until he had vessels to irradiate my defilers with.

apart from the first battle they're not necessary, they just make 12 marines seem like 8 and give my lurks some extra kills. meaning that if he has twice the necessary amount of rines they don't matter, but if he has barely enough then they do.
you're just too stubborn and really not good enough to be stubborn. when ret says queens suck at least it means something cause he'd beat me more often than not tvz, even tho he's also ignorant of their effects.

I really don't think wisdom and practice correlate at all. I've been with the game atleast as long as you have, and my inability to be competitive at the top of the game back when I was 15 and still played to win games is irrelevant in this matter.

You will win more battles with a Queen in play than you would with a few hundred of each resource dead in your stockpiles, that's granted. The real question for debate here is whether or not the resources spent on a Queen and Ensnare would've been better spent on other upgrades, on additional units, or on Hive tech.
