while most of the time I build dark archons it IS because I want to be cool. (although there ARE occasions where it's good. it's mostly just to be cool. ) queens are an entirely different thing. they're worth getting in 90% of zvt and zvp games that last longer than 10 minutes.

Reach vs Chojja game 4 anyone?
Queens are so damn cost effective in longer games...
DA's are only nice for countering casters and toss seldom encounters casters (just pvp basically?). Might be cool to counter ultraling+swarm in latelategame tho...
I guess what Rek is driving at is that the money you invest in queens would otherwise help to make the game shorter... or he's just being gay.

there's hardly any investment at all in getting queens, you need the hive anyway and 2 queens + ensnare (I honestly rarely get more than 2 queens but I almost always get 2) costs 300/300
in most games that's.. nothing.

Nice rep. I think Rek coulda held his expo at 6, but I really can't talk since I woulda lost vs Elky anyways.

im p player, but i also play with other races sometimes(tho now i cant play active for a year, once in a month mb^^) i hardly ever get DA when i play pvz but i make queens much often when i play zvp. i shuld start making more DAs, but i always think i have always something other to spend my mines and gas to.

yes hes terran, but im sure hes pretty good with all and z is gosu on bifrost. And they dont release reps because its easy to copy and distrubute them and then no one would ever pay for an OGN account and they would make a lot less money
