the defiler usage was insanely good.
even more so because he managed to have good macro during the battles.
however some stupid decisions, among other things very very late upgrading and not managing to defend top left isle.
but I greatly appreciated the replay anyway.
and critizising akaraka for his play is pretty dumb. there were lots of scourges around, he couldn't do any more dropship harassment, and he knew that if he managed to keep his expansions, not allow him to take top left isle and hold off attacks he'd end up starving him to death through not attacking, and that if he bothered attacking he'd be fucked by swarm.

That style definitely has potential to develop into something more powerful. Instead of just attacking non-stop, more innovative harrassing earlier, with cliff lurker drops or main base drops would become extremely scary.

Definately one of the best replays I've seen in a long while. The zerg played incredibly well, but the terran still reminded us that it's possible to win by simply playing a strong defense and not spending your resources like crazy. He had very good control over his units, even if they did get cought in lurker/ling occasionally, and he macro'd very well - not the normal churning out of massive numbers of units, but a clean balance between building units and ensuring a constant resource flow to his bank.
