Fr33t United States1128 Posts April 10 2009 16:07 GMT #26 I would definitely say Jaedong vs Fantasy. For their matches, every game was intense and there was never really a dull moment. Even in the beginning you were all caught up in, "what is jaedong doing?" or "Is fantasy going to 3-0 him?" Then it only got better as Jaedong made a massive comeback that literally had me standing up when pulled off crazy shit like scouting fantasy's proxy, playing around with his overlord by the starports, and of course, owning the vulture that glitched through the temple with PERFECT timing and micro. It was easily the most intense final I have ever watched. With the winner's league finals though, it was cool seeing the reverse all kill and everything, but the games themselves could not even be compared to any of the games from the OSL finals. I practically fell asleep during game 5 and 6, not to mention game 3 where Jaedong won in like 4:30 minutes. No contest, Jaedong vs Fantasy.

Game 1 was cool, game 2 was funny but dragged on, game 3 was excellently played by Jaedong but otherwise not remarkable, and games 4-5 were boring muta rape.

And then one of them slips on a banana peel and falls on his head. Luxury vs. Jangbi was Luxury proving himself to the world by smoking the #2 Protoss like a joint. CJ vs. OZ was... painful. I don't like to think about that one. Well, not after the first three games. I like to pretend that the power went out after those 3 games and they just awarded it to CJ for no adequately explored reason. Or something like that. Jaedong vs. Fantasy was unusual for a game. On the one hand, you have Fantasy, who showed off his creativity and ingenuity, as well as Vulture control and a few mind-games to go up 2-0. On the other hand, Jaedong of Borg adapted to this and crushed him 2-3. Fantasy got to show what he was made of, and Jaedong got to prove why he deserves to be the #1 player in StarCraft today. It's a toss up between Jaedong vs. Fantasy and Jaedong vs. Bisu. I think I have to go with Jaedong vs. Fantasy. The Bisu game didn't really prove anything; as Jaedong said, "This isn't over."

iNfeRnaL Germany1908 Posts April 10 2009 21:47 GMT #39 Bisu vs Jaedong game 1-4 -> EPIC sick shit. If you count ALL 5 games tho then it was the WL finals. Fanta vs JD I somehow knew JD wasn't ever going to lose, yea, fanta made it somewhat close but that was only because JD was playing somewhat off in the first 2 games. You could really feel that once JD was "warmed up and in his game" Fanta had no fucking chance anymore.
