I'm sure there are a lot of 02/3/4'ers that just don't post anymore. What he said. Now I'll overanalyse it because im bored and not sleepy enough to go to sleep yet: Note that the distribution do NOT show unbiased data of when people joined, but it is weighted with how active people are today. So if most people stay on TL for example 2 years before gettig inactive, that would also explain this distribution, without higher activity recently. What we measure is the combined weight f(t) of registration activity R(t) and activity duration A(t). All functions of time: f(t) = R(t) * A(2008 - t) where t is the year in the poll. For example, the number of votes for 2005 is the number of registered users in 2005 times the percentage of people that stay active for 3 years. Then there are ofc the normal bias in all polls, that some people will tend more towards voting (older memeber would be more voting prone here i guess...), while others will tend towards not voting. Also, the activity duration A(t) is probably also a function of when you registered. Actually, since the site probably has statistics on when people joined, this poll is a crude measurement of the activity duration A(t), with the systematic errors in the paragraph above. I would believe that the systematic errors are significantly bigger than the statistical ones, seeing that we have 59 votes even on the lowest option, giving a relative statistical error of sqrt(1/59) = 13%.

Edit: I had the message posting screen on iddle for a long time so I couldn't read the posts that just were posted in that time. Anyways, it's funny how, even not that accurately, you can tell by the user's fav.team, around which era he is from. I bet most SKT1 fans come from the glorious Boxer, Kingdom and such era, while most of us CJ fans might come from the SUMA G.O. era, with that unbelievable lineup commanded by the rising Xellos. I guess KTF might have a lot of old school fans, from the Yellow/Reach/Chojja kidnapping times to the Nada playing for the evil empire with his black evil cosplay suit times. Or maybe suckers for Flash. Samsung Khan I guess most of its fanbase comes from the last two years, when they started to get good and breed some good players. I don't think there were too many fans from the Doggi and Jju era. As far as I recall, Samsung might have been the less popular team back in the day. Sort of the nowdays Hanbit but even worse(funny how things turned upside down). If I am not mistaken, the old Khan holds the record time for not changing the teams uniform. The worst part is that the uniform sucked...big time. When I first saw a progamer with the Khan uniform, I thought he was one of those dudes in the Samsung mall giving you flyers and panflets. WeMadeFox. The only reason I can think of is Nada fanboys. Why else would you have them as your fav. team? Pure and HerO have potential, but haven't lived up to it enough to create such a fanbase. ACE. Old posters cheering for old gamers + the Emperor? Hanbit. You either liked Hanbit too much back in the day when they had HOT and Reach, one of Hanbit games changed your life, or you are just a sucker for wounded almost-dying things. And so on with other teams, but I feel too lazy to theorize about Lecaf, OGN, MBC, etc, etc.

Or if you're the fan of what was like, 4 years ago. I registered in 08 I guess but I've lurked since 07 or 06.
