I think Scarlett is the better player mechanically, while I think NaNiwa is smarter (RTS-wise) and has a bigger chance of becoming 'the best'. I believe NaNiwa has better chance at winning a WCS global finals than Scarlett does, so to speak.

I think Naniwa would win the showmatch, but Scarlett just seems better overall and I've been far more impressed with some of her A-game performances. Namely at Redbull battlegrounds. As for if the poll is who I like more in popularity...tie I suppose. Really, it's nice they both are legit foreigners that can easily mix it up with the average Korean but screw em. I want my Stephano back T_T. Innovator, entertainer, the true foreign king!

naniwa cheeses the koris out of tournaments (or mindgame strange strategy) scarlett GET cheesed out of the tournament by koris ^_^ the respect difference they bring out vs scarlett for me is the point, they scared by her but people here only vote by who they LIKE ^^ yes a showmatch could be good for nani since his pvz is good and her zvp isnt, but in overall skill, for me shes miles ahead. protoss speaking here ^^

Scarlet has had one runner-up tournament this year, and it happens to be the last one... Naniwa had many more good showings this year, always slightly better than Scarlett, and was the only player to qualify to WCS Global Final.

It is a shame that most foreign players focus mostly on strategy. Naniwa has great mechanics as well, but depends on his opponents to make mistakes much more than Scarlett. If Naniwa stopped the blind nexus firsts and get better on his multi-tasking tactics I would say Naniwa. However, Scarlett's mechanics is much more valuable in the long run. What would actually be a good poll question is: Does a level of mechanics comes with a severe injury risk? Post-BW, it seems like the mechanics heavy players tend to be very injury prone.

In BW basically everyone would be as mechanic heavy as the tip top players in SC2 if not much more so (probably much more so) and it wasn't like everyone had injury issues.

Both are very good and can compete with top Koreans, but Naniwa is the better player. He's had more deep tournament runs in bigger tournaments than Scarlett and I think in a head to head match he would win.

And after that he could cruise on his at the time really good pvp :S Although it kinda is no idea to argue Naniwas code s significance with anitfans, they'lll take any chance to discredit him(even if it isn't legitimate)

Wait, I thought this was a popularity contest between the two. I have no idea who would win in the showmatch between them. I guess it's 40:40 ![]() That's for sure. Also, Technics... and others.

Lol drama queen much?? Thats just what people do man, we rally behind our favorite players and compare them to each other..its like that in every sport, be in e-sports or real sports. You think just because I voted for Nani in this poll, I can no longer like/root for Scarlett anymore? Sorry to burst your bubble, but thats not the case, and doesnt make any sense. This is just suppose to be a fun little poll to drum up some publicity and interest for the upcoming showmatch; lighten up and dont take it so seriously man..
