I love team league the best. It is fun and exciting. I would have to say that GSTL and SC2L are my favorites. I like SC2L because I get to see those foreign players I like play meaningful matches that I wouldn't see elsewhere. GSTL I just love because well, Gom makes it feel epic.

GSTL always feels some kind higher then the rest for me
ATC and SC2L are leagues like the eg league or whatever league not that importent i feel, and the proleague is to bad made for me (sry not my casters, not my caststyle etc)
so gstl is for me at least far above

Proleague has the best games but I can't stand the commentary. GSTL is so expensive if you cant watch live though. Hard choice.

Enjoy the most? Has to be GSTL for me since I feel more invested in those teams game quality aside.

I agree with you in terms of the pros/cons of each, but for me it's an easy choice. I have (and always will) like GSTL more. The format, quality, production, and overall feel of GSTL is more professional (at least for the English stream) and I like the eSF teams more.

Well, that's easy -->> Proleague. They should just cancel GSTL and make the Proleague with 14 teams :D

In terms of production value and commentary I enjoy GSTL more, but in terms of format Proleague is far and away better.

The team aspect of GSTL seems lost when you can have a super ace or two on your team and they end up all-killing or nearly all-killing and then someone cleans up. On an individual level it provides excitement in that you want to see if the certain player can go the full distance, but the team aspect is just lost in all of it.

This is why I voted for Proleague, I think they can and will fix the commentary part and the production value will go up in time and with the superior format I can't see it not winning out.

On the plus side Proleague can afford to and does bring out truly unique and crazy map, because the format is such that if a map is really race favored then you just send that race on the map and it evens out until the map is rotated out, this has lead to us seeing some truly unique maps and games and maps this year, and while not all of them where successful or good, at least in the end we had some added entertainment.

Deciding factor for me is that I can watch Pro league and not GSTL. Historically I have enjoyed GSTL way more but Gom subscription is kind of expensive.

GSTL production and commentary is superior to Proleague, but in terms of the actual games and format of the league, Proleague is superior.

Mixed feelings about seeing SPL top of the chart to be honest.

As a person that played and appreciates BW but not fanatic about it i don't see any particular appeal over GSTL, they have long breaks between matches, average casting and little content that appeals to foreigners.

On the other hand GSTL has great casting, good music and info in between matches, proper format with well translated interviews.

Not to mention GSL before all the WCS confusion...

How is this even a poll? GSTL seems to be getting worse like PL and the scheduling is. I won't even comment on the other leagues. PL all the way. >_<

SC2L is really fun to watch. GSTL has an aura of greatness around it. Prestige even. Proleague has a lot of tradition, but the awful casting ruins it for me. ATC was fun but I just couldn't get into it.

SC2L edges out GSTL for me; I enjoy them both but the tiebreaker is airtime. Much more convenient for me being in the US.

I really wish team leagues incorporated some team games... maybe start off with a 2v2 to give either team an advantage (like picking the first map etc).

I started watching SC2 last summer-ish, and Teamleagues are by far my favorite thing to watch. I personally prefer all-kill style. I really like the counter-picking players strategy that goes into the games. My favorite right now has to be the GSTL.
ATC - The Karont3 decision and the stupid revive rule (the one that allows one guy (Taeja/Yugioh/Huyn, etc) to play 3 times) lessened my enthusiasm for this league quite a bit, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't really excited for the start of season 2.
SC2L - This one I think is pretty cool, but the erratic broadcast days was kind of annoying.
ProLeague - So I had watched SC2 for a few months and started learning who the players (eSF guys) are and then suddenly there are twice the Korean players and Teams? Sorry, but I'm not going to be excited about a league with players I don't care about (didn't watch BW) with casting I didn't like and whose stats overlays look like they are straight out of the mid 90's. I watched a couple of EGTL's games but that was it. That being said, the tiny GSTL is quite saddening and I'm thinking it will probably end up merging into PL. I'd happily watch it then.
My favorite league of all time was definietly the IPTL though. More specifically, the IPL TAC3 (the one where TaeJa killed everybody). Kevin Knocke and DoA casting, TaeJa picking up TL and dragging them to the finals...I doubt any league will ever beat that in my mind.

Used to be GSTL, but this season... Doubt I'll watch a lot of it, my favorite team is not playing there anymore, as well as 2 more strong teams. 2 half dead teams (soul and azubu) there doesn't help as well.
Pro league was ok, but english commentary killed it for me. Still watched some korean streams, but only chosen ones and when I didn't had anything better to do.

Don't care about the other 2 at all.

proleague gives the best results over the course of the season, both letting ace players get tons of wins and also allowing new players to get experience on stage. in the gstl its all kill (mostly?) so its never a good idea to send a player weaker than your strongest player.

plus the grand finals are epic in pl
economy over everything

I would imagine that one of the reasons that Proleague is so popular is because there are so many more games played. GSTL, for example, is on a lot less often and it is less enjoyable to watch because of that.

Definitely Proleague. Watching players like INnoVation, Flash, Soulkey and Rain play is just a sight to behold. Even the non-ace players bring interesting and well prepared build to the table. WoL Proleague was a bit of a turn-off (at least to me) because some of their maps are just plain weird. HotS Proleague was magnificent.

Last season? GSTL only because it had multiple teams I actually care about. SPL is far, FAR superior though if you ignore what teams are playing.

This season I can't say I really care as much for GSTL. I still watch, but there's nobody I can really get behind as much as IM. I'm rooting for FXO, but with significantly less passion had IM still been playing. The format for GSTL is a lot better this season though, with better maps...it's still cool I guess.

SPL isn't around just yet, but I suppose I'll vote that since it owns in production, format, and longevity. Not to mention, IM seems likely to join.

edit: oh, and how could I forget SPL's finest point...MAPS! I love the rotations between rounds. Also, SPL on average has much more of an audience. I didn't really care much for SNM as a caster though, I felt like he held Whiplash back. It seemed like Whiplash would try to inject some humor every now and then into the cast and SNM would kind of shoot it down.

GSTL is a classic of SC2, if this was brood war I would understand why one would say proleague, but this is SC2 and GSTL is the face of team leagues in SC2,its sad that it is dying, but thats life i guess

ProLeague with better casting would be a no contest for me, though even with casting that is not my taste. I still like the format the presentation and the atmosphere far more then that of other team league's.
Hoping for more teams though next season, would be awsome.

Before Prime, IM, and MVP quit the league (and they changed the pennant race all-kill format to Bo7), I'd say GSTL... but that league is slowly declining in entertainment value since last year.

Oh well, still GSTL since they're the only one to consistently have an English broadcast and two casters that know what they're talking about at least 95% of the time. Oh yeah, and they have a set broadcast time so I know when to be awake to watch and they don't change the broadcast time mid-season.

Tough choice.

GSTL: Good commentary/production, includes many of my favourite players/teams, awful airtime for my zone
Proleague: Satisfactory commentary/production, includes players/history less familiar to me, good airtime
SC2L: Good commentary, decent production, includes many good players but not the best, good airtime
ATC: Didn't watch enough to judge

Proleague put out a great product last season with the 5 dollar season pass and reasonable broadcast times for an NA viewer.

And of course, EGTL made it extra fun.

I like watching Proleague games, but I can't bare to listen to the casters. I never typically watch the GSTL unless a player that i really like is on. Acer Teamstory Cup is enjoyable because Liquid is there and I always follow HerO and TaeJa in any tournament they enter. I picked SC2L as my choice because I enjoy Incontrol and Day9 casts and HerO and TaeJa play in it.

I may be an exception but I never really liked proleague that much. GSTL has always been the best for me.

Never really watched SC2L, always at a bad time for me. The ATC finals where awesome though, should watch more of that.

I don't get to watch a lot of Proleague or GSTL, mostly because of time constraints. I enjoyed ATC the most because it was easy to follow with an European schedule and I love the winner's league format.

GSTL > Proleague > ATC > SC2L

Why is that? Watch out, completely non-objective opinion incoming:

GSTL has the most fun format. Players actually do sometimes show a sense of joy when they won. Plus, GSTL SC2 history (SlayerS vs. FXO ...) is just great.

Proleague - raw display of skill. It's KeSPA. It's traditional from BW. It's like "there is a duty to watch this if you're into SC2!"
(and I would not follow Proleague as much as I do without EGTL. I simply don't care for hugely skilled players that do not care for fans. "Cheer for me, thanks to sponsors" is not what I call caring for fans.)

ATC - European time zone (mostly). Was fun to watch, and I do like not-kr based teamleagues, because it shows the growth of the scene. Also, I do enjoy Acer supporting the scene pretty much.

BUT: In terms entertainment, ATC clearly wins. In terms of skill displayed, Proleague wins. Of course.

SC2L - not really watchable for EU ppl due to timezone (well, same for KR tournaments - but they do have the calibers of players that make me get up at 5 or 6 in the morning at the weekend).

I also love Proleague but I have to mute the sound because the commentators say so many wrong things that it becomes unbearable

Any reason why you don't?

I never followed any sort of team leagues at all. Not even in bw.

Doesn't appeal to me. I don't like team anything really. Also, the matches are usually a weird bo1 KotH format which is not the same as outplaying someone in a series. It seems like there is less skill and hardwork involved.

I'll watch individual games if they are good or interesting when people talk about them though.

Proleague... it's got the players and history that no other league can hope to compete with... and lets face it, history is one of the few things that SC2 has that sets it apart from the others.

I prefer SC2L since the commentary is so good. Don't get me wrong I love pro-league but sometimes I just cant listen to those guys and it takes away from the games.

Proleague, but the others also nice.

I even enjoyed Supernovamanic and Whiplash, I think they are quite funny.
The Maps are cool, and you can see many many games per week on highest level, no matter even who plays.

The thing with SC2L is that its casted from replays.. It feels so unprofessional. And sometimes the replays take forever to get on youtube :-/ But the casting is great tho, and the games are awsome :-) My 2cents :-)

Proleague>>GSTL>>SC2L>>ATC.

Proleague's length makes it feel a lot more like a very, very professional league. I enjoy how each team plays every other team 6 times, it's also nice for teams, because if you don't have a good round, you can try to do better next round and hopefully fix the issues. Most importantly, I love the proleague format, makes it feel more "team" based because you can't just rely on a super power like innovation or rain or flash to carry the entire team.

GSTL has the best english production down. Players in booths, high quality streams and VOD's and two of the best casters around. the teams they have are incredibly skilled and the matches are usually very cool to watch.

SC2L and ATC are basically tied, the SC2L only wins slightly because it has more foreign teams, and it's not like I have a hard on for foreigners over koreans like a lot of sc2 fans do, but it is nice to have a league where more foreigners are playing because there is GSTL and Proleague already and I love how each player can be entertaining to watch even if they aren't the highest level of skill.

Historically, GSTL most certainly.

I think this upcoming proleague is a lot more exciting than the current GSTL, though.

Game quality : Proleague
Entertainment quality : Proleague
Players' range of involvement : Proleague

As for the shoutcasting... I'd rather not mention it, it's sort of irrelevant in the vote.

Proleague, primarily for the format and maps. I just love seeing a variety of players, maps and playstyles rather than the same few over and over. And only Proleague consistently delivers this.

the only team league i sort of follow regularly is gstl, i watched some prolegue but the broadcasting times are just in the range of horrible to impossible for me. at the end of the day i just follow (and play) starcraft more causual and don't realy consider starcraft to be a team game. if i want toe see teams in action i watch other stuff.
ps. yes i know that proleague was the shit back in bw, but i never followed professional bw.

I haven't watched for a while now so maybe they've changed. Anyway, I just can't stand watching any OGN broadcast be it LoL or SC2 because of the full-screen "dramatic face-zooms" (full screen being the key here because they do add a certain something). Too often you don't get to see exacly how zergs sets up their units just before the fight happens (or how LoL-teams position themselves) and the exact timing of when they send in what units and (atleast for me) that's one of the most exciting things and something (atleast one of the things) that separates the great from the good and we don't get to see it because they haven't figured out picture-in-picture. In 2013.

As long as Soulkey, Flash, and Jaedong are playing I'll still care about Proleague. After that I'll give up on Sc2 altogether.

Pretty much this.

Yea, (at least, English) commentary and production is so superior, that I voted GSTL. But clearly Proleague has the exciting games. But now GSTL has Innovation...

I've been watching Starcraft 2 since the start of WCS, I only played WoL casually before hand. I've been really enjoying Starcraft since, but I was hesitant to buy a GSTL season ticket. However, I really wanted to watch and root for team acer so I brought it and after only 3 matches I'm so happy with my purchase. The production is great, I can watch the VODs spoiler free and the games are of a great quality. So far I love GSTL.
ATC was good as well, but I only watched the offline finals.

I really do enjoy ATC but I don't feel the urge of catching each and every one of the episodes due to them being offline. It's by far the best online one, though. Even with the replays and stuff released. It's really great.

I never watch Proleague or GSTL because of the times and I prefer to watch live games, so vods or sc2l are not for me.
Therefore I'm stuck with ATC, but I have been enjoying it quite a lot. While the quality of the games might not be as high as in Proleague, the crew of Take are definitely the better cooks.

quality of matches in my opinion has to go to Proleague. I think overall broadcast enjoyment has to be GSTL though, because it actually has English content. I hate how Proleague has to piggy-back broadcast OGN basically. And it makes me sad how much people hate on the casting, because SNM and Whiplash are alright. Sure it would be better, but the overall vibe of Proleague is brought down due the the lack of English content for the English stream, so I think the casting suffers greatly. What if they had obs control? They wouldn't have to sound completely clueless when trying to figure out what the obs was saying, they could do it themselves. People tend to overlook that when they just spew hate towards SNM. That said, I have always felt more of a connection to eSF, so GSTL had been more fun to watch until they lost everyone. Still as a huge PartinG fan Proleague is great because I can see him play regularly and I CAN ACTUALLY GET FREE VODS FOR PROLEAGUE. SC2L was ruined for me because it wasn't played live (except the finals which will be). I think it had potential to be much better, but I understand why having them play live just isn't feasible. Honestly I haven't watched very much ATC because I'm always at school when it's on, but I did watch the finals and they were pretty entertaining. I do prefer the all-kill format to the match-up format, so that definitely for me is another reason to enjoy it.

GSTL has the best games and I like the format more, so easy choice for me. Though if the teams that dropped GSTL will move over to SPL ... then I guess game quality will get better there, poor old Kespa teams though. Just my personal opinion, I didn't really follow SPL after a while, because of the games being often rather weird in a bad way. Gave it another chance after everyone commented so well on SPL, but it did not really change my opinion.

so much this. Every other teamleague is played online, and I really couldn't care less about any form of online competition, especially given that most of them are casted from replays. Also watching foreigners play vs koreans, or even worse vs other foreigners, is kinda sad nowadays.

I like proleague more because I like the kespa teams more and the format is way more appealing to me, plus personally since I never pay any attention to what exactly the casters are talking about, I prefer proleague as they don't shout as much as khaldor.

I really prefer GSTL because of GOM production and casters. Love Whiplash, but Khaldor and Wolf are pretty good entertainers. But if I were to make the decision based on team matchups only, I would choose Proleague, as I'm sure many more people would as well. Too many things to talk about under this poll.
