never played dota and when the lol section was opened I briefly looked into that but for some reason I was totally bored after watching 2 games of professional lol I did look into some of the hero guides a bit because I wanted to try playing it but I quit quite quickly tbhsooo SC2 ftw | ||

A much more relevant thing (that I would personnally love to see) would be the page frequentation of each subsection. Honestly, if we were given annual results like "120.000.000 SC2 pages were visited last month from 145.000 unique visitors" it would be great, for us to know, and for esport in general. | ||

I started out watching bw in about 2006 and started playing afterwards. Played tons of sc2 in the beta and the following months. Now I enjoy watching dota much more than sc2. I hope HoTS can bring back the variety and excitement of brood war, but I'm not holding my breath. 200/200 battles are boring as fuck to watch. ZvT and TvTs are the only MUs I can half stomach watching. | ||

Sad to see so few votes though. Anyway, I like it that it's a small, close-knit group of people enjoying the game, one thing I like about the Dota scene is that it's not as big and flashy as Sc2 scene, so it kinda has that amateur feel that Sc2 had in the first 6 months or so. | ||

Voted Dota2, even though I take my dota news from reddit and Joindota, because I lost all interest in Sc2 for a very long time now, I think I'm just melancholic over the time and heart I invested in this game's scene during its first year and a half. edit: used to read the bw forums a lot, but i said my final goodbyes to bw the day after Jangbi won the last OSL, and I haven't touched that section since | ||
