Had to vote Dreamcast. Only due to genesis/mega drive not being on the list. Genesis was the best console ever. would vote ps1 or 2 if not mega drive i guess.

my parents would never buy me a console, but my grandmother had an NES to entertain her grandchildren when we came over. my first console to myself was an n64 given to me as a christmas gift, which i shortly sold for a playstation. i've got a lot of fun gaming memories on the psx, so it's by far my favourite console

I voted for Nintendo because it was so original and set the stage for SNES. I feel like Nintendo was before the time of most of the people on here. I understand SNES is probably a better system from a totally objective point of view, but how can I not vote NES?

The Legend of Zelda : One of the best games of all time
The Adventures of Link : controversial and very challenging game that I'll never forget beating
Super Mario 1 though 3 : all amazing games
Contra : Overall awesome side scroller and of course the code for 30 lives
Metroid : revolutionary game
Excitebike : Really fun game and you could build your own tracks!
Dragon Warrior series : Thou art dead.
The pad for track and field paved the way for DDR.
Castlevania had creepy music, eerie levels and bad ass end guys like the grim reaper and dracula.
Marble Madness is one of the most perfectly designed well done games of all time.

Nintendo is the most revolutionary system of all time. More new ground was broke on this system than any other.

Add "Super" in front of almost every game on that list, and you have an allstar list for great SNES games

Rather than see the Nintendo win the poll I voted PS2 because it can do everything the PS1 can do and more, although I like PS1 games better.
Dreamcast is way way underrated :/
But come on..
no Genesis/Commodore 64?

Oh yea, I like Dreamcast for Crazy Taxi and SoulCalibur. PS was fun a few years ago with Suikoden. One of the few games (maybe only) to make me cry.

Atari!!! It was definitely the console I've played the most, followed by NES. I still have a SNES, but I haven't really used it nearly as much as the other two. Moreover, Enduro will always have the best playability the technology could offer, with SC/BW as a close second.

Xbox can emulate all consoles except PS2/Xbox/Gamecube or later. It's also very hackable, so I'd have to go with that.

I grew up with original NES when i was a baby so im gonna have to go with that. Those were the golden days. I had 5 games, and they lasted me about 5 yrs till my dad decided to sell it to a cousin !%KP%#@ behind my back. Duckhunt, Super Mario Bros, FF2, Some boxing game, Ninja Turtles, were the shit.
