Probably depending much rather on his opponents than himself... Basically I can and would like to see him in the finals. Go Nani!

I hope he wins it. However, I think he will only make it to RO4.

What a depressing poll to greet us TLers.

Oh wait, "realistic" is the right word.

I really hate the way GSL has gone this season

I want both Mvp and NaNiwa to do well and get atleast Ro4

This tournament is getting far to unpredictable! Ro32 groups can be harder than Ro4 these days!

Naniwa will probably be able to handle MVP and then advance to Ro4 where anything can happen... except for PvZ... lol.

I honestly believe that Naniwa can win it but it will be really hard ! And it depends on the players he will face obviously ! Im so excited about Naniwa vs MVP !

I think he can take out MKP. Naniwa is ready to win. Wherever they meet will be the final in my book. But who knows if MKP even makes it out of his group, you never really know. Parting is in a group with 3 terrans id bet he would get out and I think taeja is a wild card, he took out jjakji twice and 2 - 0 DRG. So anywhere between Ro4 and champion.

This is supposed to be a troll right? All koreans do "all in" builds I've seen MKP do it numerous times. I've seen Naniwa do plenty of macro games especially in PvT there is only the 2 base collosus timing thats viable and thats a legitimate response to a greedy terran. Otherwise PvT always goes late game, unless the terran does any one of the numerous builds that can end it early if not defended correctly.

RO4...he's good enough to be champ but that's a ton of top notch players to edge out plus the pressure of playing as the only remaining foreigner...

RO4, He will face Parting. PvT favours protoss now due to the ascendancy of 3 base builds, and MVP is looking shaky anyway. He has fair chance of beating Parting too, but making the finals would be just too much for Nanner's debut season.

If he can win vs MVP, he can take the entire tournament.

But then again with who he has been playing and whom he still has to play. Im going with Ro8.

I did some rethinking, and unfortunately can't re-vote. He definitely is capable of winning the whole thing. That would be my vote.

Now will he? How far will he get? Making the finals would be a bit too much to expect of him, hence my vote of reaching the semi finals and then losing against Parting.

With that logic you might as well wait until the final to narrow down the odds more! The point of a prediction is so that you try a figure out who he will play and what his odds are.

Anyways, I have a feeling that MVP might be doable. But beyond that... well, we can hope.

In this case, untrue. He didn't know if it'd be MVP (nani 50%+ chance) or leenock (nani 30%+ chance?). Anyhow, if first barrier is way too hard, there's no point trying to foresee further. If we think where his run ends at this point, the only sensible logic is to wait until ro8 opponent is known. And now it is.

That's predicting a match at a time, not predicting how far he will go.

NaNiwa is going to hit the ground running, right into the hypothetical wall of IMMvp.

He won't get by MVP, if you think otherwise than it's clear that you have a heavy foreigner bias. I wish people would stop cheering for foreigners because they themselves are foreign, it's stupid.

I'm picking him to win the whole thing. There is nobody left in the tournament that outclasses him to the point where he has no chance. TvP is MVP's worst matchup and MVP isn't quite as good as he used to be.
