He's a momentum player. If the games were played all yesterday, he could win it all.... if he gets on a roll like he was yesterday he could win it all.

If he's in the right mindset, he could win it all.

He has a chance, a 1 in 8 chance.

Depends who he's playing in the Ro8. If he gets HerO, that might be the worst outcome for Nani because, well, PvP and Hero is pretty good at it. I do think he's actually favored against MVP or whoever decides to make it out of group B in 2nd place unless it's HerO.

I looked at the players left in RO16, and Jesus, Code S is really scary these days. I think Naniwa will put up a good fight in the RO8, but that will be the end of his run.

Realistically, Ro4. If he can stay clear of MVP in the quarterfinals and then Oz/Squirtle/MarineKing/Taeja in the semifinals, he has a definite shot of making the finals. His PvP and PvT look strong and with the lack of Zergs, especially ones with good ZvP, he has a good road. Again, though, this is the top eight of the GSL and anyone he faces in the quarterfinals is going to have two weeks to fully prepare for him. They will solely focus on playing Naniwa and put everything they have into only preparing for him, so it's going to be the hardest Bo5 of his career either way. A semifinal would be huge not only for himself, but for the foreign community as well.

Foreigners have won MLG's and beaten Koreans in various foreign tournaments, but nothing, in my opinion, has captured the same magic that Jinro delivered by making it to the semifinals in back-to-back seasons and taking the first game against MKP in the January season of Code S more than a year ago. If he can get to a finals, things are gonna get crazy on TeamLiquid and the atmosphere will be electric for the final.

If marineking places second in his group, we should see a naniwa/marineking finals right? I would say runner up in that case. otherwise ro4 probably. mkp is one tough cookie.

I hope, I hope against hope that he can make it all the way. I want him to be the example that people can use to show that skill knows no nation. I want Naniwa to win it all, even with a lot of my favorite players still locked in Code S.

Atop of all that, I want to see Tasteless and Artosis go absolutely batshit during the grand finals.

tbh i think hes gone further than hes supposed to already. if i were fair, i still think genius is a better player than him and virus is no chobo either.
