I thought that GSL2 was the best because of Boxer and Nada playing each other for the first time in SC2 and there was a lot of build-up for that match-up. Also the rise of Foxer and Nestea was great to spectate and the finals was way closer and exciting compared to the lopsided Fruitdealer crushing.

GSL3 has some good things going for it like Jinro in the semi-finals which is just awesome and finally a protoss player in the finals. I was disappointed though that July didn't get his S class and too many games are just all-ins or cheese, also the new map system where you can't veto sucks.

u could clearly see how much the game evolved between season 1 and 2. following the same pattern, u could clearly see the game evolving further by the awesome macro games in season 3. the problem though is that season 3 has seen a huge increase in retarded bullshit all-in strategies which make for horrible games. therefore, my vote goes to season 2.

gsl was a dissapoint aside from Jinro and gsl2 was epic in its own way but i have to say gsl 1 was crazy because of how new it was and how crazy fruitdealer's story was as the underdog zerg

I love Jinro and July but the map system for GSL3 is broken. So i vote for the clear sweep of nestea till the final.

Season 2 finals were horrible, Foxer trying to cheese and allin and whatnot and failing. Foxer got boring pretty fast.

Season 3 wins because JINRO.

JINRO. What he did is beyond pretty much anything. Idra's small time compared to how solid this guy is.

Was stuck between GSL1 & GSL3. Fruitdealer made Zergs possible and showed that it wasn't as bad as it was.

GSL3 has a non-zerg final (Which I'm kind of happy for.) and has Jinro who made it very far for a foreigner making such an exciting scene.

But I voted for GSL1, because GSL3 overall wasn't too exciting to me. Maybe the final will prove me wrong, but I think GSL1 makes the best for me so far.

Yeah. And I guess Ret is small time towards him as well, right?

GSL2 because the introduction of how marines > banelings. I was geeking out at all of the Foxer plays throughout the entire GSL. Also, how could you not be excited to see nestea winning the whole thing with the story of his background?!

the final game s1 where FruitDealer won with this nydus was so epic :D
i like sc2 more than wc3 because of its mind games , in wc3 the only mind game you could do is go for a different hero than normal to make your opponent thing you are retarded

Season 1 was awesome with all the FD stuff, and even his 6pool to Inca was awesome.
Season 2 was awesome with Cheese being defeated (plus Nada vs Boxer).
Season 3 was awesome until the Cheese started to win (FD vs Nestea being denied).

Nestea was more dominant in his GSL (xcept the final) than FD... but all the FD storyline and worldwideZergs OMGing every match wins for me.
You play to win

I would say GSL #3 due to Jinro raping up to Ro4, but GSL #1 overall, not counting personal favorite players, was a bit better. The matches were significantly better than GSL 3's set of matches. Much amounts of cheese in 3. Jinro is like the only one who played a real macro style game =/.

So GSL #1
But I still like Jinro.

I can't vote until I see the finals of GSL 3, but I'd probably say GSL 3 was the best in terms of highest level play, and GSL 2 was the best in terms of the coolest strategies.

GSL 3 easily. The level of play in GSL 1 was not very high level besides fruitdealer. GSL 2 was pretty interesting, but GSL 3 was interesting AND it had awesome foreigner contribution as well. Cheesy? yes, but in the end I just know that we will have a protoss victor! MSEEEEEEEEEEE

GSL 1: Fruitdealer playing what seemed to be a fairy tale story with many claiming zerg was an underpowered race and Fruitdealer himself overcoming the adversity to claim GSL Season 1 champion title.

GSL 2: Nestea in essence doing the same thing as Fruitdealer in season 1, though highly down played due to the facts zerg received buffs (ex. roach range increase) and Fruitdealer had just just flexed the zerg's muscle a couple months prior. Major storyline of the tourney Boxer and Nada performing well and meeting head-to-head.

GSL 3: No map veto. What seemed to be a lackluster of exciting good games (in my opinion). Although, more foreigners in this GSL and Jinro performing well definitely caught my attention. Also a new race as the GSL Champion. (Gogo MC!!)

-- My simple and personal feelings towards the GSL's. GSL 1 has my vote since the tourney went rather well, it made me more interested in GOM's future tournaments.

GSL1, Fruitsellers play was really inspiring. And fewer annoying to watch games.
When in doubt, empty your magazine.
