34% of polled are delusional.
15% of polled are insane.
Who will win GSL2? Old SC1 pro (Nada, July, Boxer, etc) (800) 34% GSL1 Korean (Tester, Rainbow, etc) (735) 31% Foreigner (IdrA, TLO, etc) (350) 15% Someone completely new (244) 10% GSL1 Champion (236) 10%

I think the chances of fruitdealer winning 2 GSL's in a row to be slim, but definately possible. I don't think that the sc1 pros are going to be good as many people think(until they have more time to play the game). I expect a sc2 korean pro to take this. I'm thinking a protoss this time

Well... if he's participating, MVP. He was doing so well in SC:BW, a great, up and coming player, and if he's had the chance to practice enough, he'll take the gold.

I mean...BoxeR, NaDa, and July couldn't compete with the likes of Tester at BW towards the end of their careers, and Tester has a huge leg up on them at SC2. BW skill does translate, but we have to remember that these guys aren't exactly elite of the elite BW players anymore. If they were, I doubt they'd be picking up SC2 when could tester ever handle any of those three players in brood war When he was playing in the Batoo OSL, July was also a qualifier but both BoxeR and NaDa were well into their benchwarming days. "Couldn't compete" is way too strong though, upon further consideration.

Technically Cool, Tester, Rainbow, and many others fall under the Old SC1 Pro category Thus, it is the correct answer!

More than likely one of the old pros that have switched over. Lets face it, they rose above the rest. Pretty much it was the older pros that didnt cut it anymore that did well in GSL1, now that the pros that were highly ranked in BW switched it will be their turn. They will rise to the top again.

I voted for a foreigner here.. I hope we become more of a presence at GSL.. so I think I am really voting out of my heart not with my brain :X
|
Remember torch? Maybe some foreigner will storm in there (again) completely unannounced to us and just go straight to semis. But in all honesty I think some old B+ teamers will probably switch over and stomp the competition.

OLD SC PLAYER = boxer . july ,, jaedong and other = they r good players expect other SC2 PLAYER = they r inter player ,pro player = sc1 player
|
if HuK enters he will def make the qualifiers. But keeping it real I voted for GSL1 Korean.
The real winner is Tasteless for getting his career really moving.
|
It could be anyone, but I voted old school pro out of loyalty.

TheLittleOne or Fruitseller i hope
good chances always have Tester/InCa/IntotheRainbow
SC1 pros like july/zergbong aren't on that level yet. I saw some replays of july and it wasn't really that good and zergbong kinda dissappointed in gsl1. No creep tumor is not good

I want to see HuK take it down. A foreigner winning the GSL would be amazing.

It's realistically going to be someone who was both a pro in Sc1 and has been playing Sc2 for a long while - Tester, Rainbow, Cool, Clyde are all pretty good bets in my opinion.

Do you even know what you are talking about? Tester cool rainbow etc were all ex bw pros. With nada july and boxer probably practicing like crazy now they have a good chance of winning gsl2. We'll see for ourselves when the tournament starts.

IMO its to early for sc1 pros to win GSL right now, maybe they can do it next season.
