Some quick number crunching for anyone who's interested (numbers taken at 2:20 KST on August 13), ignoring 'other': 60% of BW Protoss players stuck with P in SC2 while 23.5% switched to T and 16.5% switched to Z. 58.4% of BW Zerg players stuck with Z in SC2 while 22.3% switched to T and 19.4% switched to P. 62.1% of BW Terran players stuck with T in SC2 while 19.1% switched to P and 18.8% switched to Z. That also means 63.7% of SC2 Protoss players play P in BW, while 20.1% switched from Z and 16.1% switched from T. 65.5% of SC2 Zerg players play Z in BW, while 17.4% switched from P and 17.1% switched from T. 52.1% of SC2 Terran players play T in BW, while 24.8% switched from P and 23% switched from Z. Of the people who switched races, 40.8% switched to T, 30.8% switched to P, and 28.4% switched to Z. In this poll, 36.1% of respondents play P in BW, 35.3% play Z, and 28.6% play T. In SC2 34% of respondents play P in BW, 31.4% play Z, and 34.1% play T. I almost made pie charts but I thought that might be going a bit overboard, plus the numbers here are mostly fairly even and wouldn't have looked very interesting on a pie chart. I play Zerg in BW but I don't like their aesthetic feel as much in SC2 (I know, shallow guy huh?). Right now I'm playing random in SC2 but I'm thinking I'll probably end up settling on Protoss, and likely spend more time on BW anyways. I didn't vote though since I haven't decided. TL;DR: Terran went from the least to most popular race (among respondents in this poll anyways) in SC2, with significantly more people switching to terran than to protoss or zerg. Zerg fared worst of the three races by a narrower margin. The specific numbers are liable to continue shifting as more and more people answer the poll, but the general trends probably won't

WHen sc2 came out i wanted to try zerg but i realized that Terran was too hard to beat. So i switched to Terran. Although im worse in terran my results in ladder matches are actually better. maybe Terran is OP who knows

I do play all the races though and despite the fact that for some matchups I am preforming better with other races I intend to push my 'p v *' skill beyond that.
