I would also vote Stats v Jaedong because I feel like there's a small chance Stats will make it good series.. but logic says it'll be a 3-0 also. So Flash v Best for sure.. | ||

Flash vs.  Calm is best on paper, but Flash has been playing so well against Zergs lately (whereas Calm has been erratic against Terrans) that I don't think it will even be a contest. Flash vs. Best also looks good because of Flash being Flash, and Best having that undefeated record against him, but I just find most games with Best in them boring.Voted for Movie vs. Shine--both are up-and-coming players (Movie for a while now, and Shine just based off the players he's defeated in this OSL so far) with a lot of skill but also a penchant for all-in/cheesy play at times. And PvZ is a pretty fun matchup. I think this will be the best series to watch. | ||

Flash v.s. Calm will probably end up like any other Flash v.s. Zerg game. The only thing that works against Flash seems to be fast Muta harass if Flash skips out on Turret placements. I am sure it is fixable. Movie v.s. Shine would be pretty interest for Bisu and Stork fanboys such as myself... | ||

If he wins this then I'm confident he can win both titles. Flash vs Calm and Jaedong vs Stats should definitely be rather one-sided (as great as calm is) and hopefully light vs kwanro will be as well It will definitely be nice to see light in the semis, if kwanro takes that away from me ill lose my mind. Hwasin vs Kal could definitely produce some very interesting games though I expect Hwasins TvP to fail once more. | ||

Seriously, Calm wins this OSL and he's royal road, MSL and OSL champion in quick succession and we suddenly have to consider his career as it relates to some of the all-time greats. Flash wins this OSL and he's a 2-time winner and legitimizes his claim of "best in the game today". Not only that, these are two extremely smart players who are going to bring the fire to a BO5. I'm sure each has at least 1 crazy all-in prepared and a few unexpected builds, and even if one player gets 3-0'd (unlikely) neither flash nor Calm tend to ever get rolled. Another awesome factor is that each player tends to play to the others' weakness: Flash has insane multitasking, which is one of Calm's midgame weaknesses, while Calm has the ability to shift gears into unorthodox builds and timings early on, which tends to throw Flash off in a major way. I can't wait to see these opposing styles clash and whoever wins I wholly expect to bring home the hardware. | ||

That's a pretty optimistic way to look at it. I don't doubt Calm's ability to play smart and wanting to hide builds - but it doesn't really excuse how poorly he played the standard game. In fact, Calm looked so mediocre at standard 3 Hatch play that it seems like Flash can almost practice exclusively for other stuff, because there's just no way he's going to lose a standard game against that. | ||
