It's surprising to me that they are living up to potential (minus ForGG.) The recent ace matches aren't as surprising to me because it's still early in the season and I think they are trying to give experience to newer players. I still think putting Killer out for ace is going to help Oz so much in the future and that bitching about it is pretty shortsighted. Khan being still bad isn't THAT surprising but it is a little offputting. Is it over for the FBH, Stork, Jangi combo? I think it could be. | ||

for some players, the thing that will always hold them back is their performance anxiety in front of that camera. coaches are putting promising players through the ringer now so that they can perform later. it would be strange to me if coaches didn't take advantage of the beginning of the season like this. | ||

Agree. I voted Estro/WeMade. Estro doesn't surprise me as they have been building up young talent for a while but gotta say that WeMade looked completely dead to me at the end of last season. | ||

Why would coaches think like that when the 6th team to make the playoff last season only made it by a difference of a few wins? Not to mention that Oz was trailing SKT in overall standings by 1-2 or wins, and those 1-2 wins determine whether you had to fight to be in the Grand Finals or are seeded in the Grand Finals. Seriously, every single win in Proleague is crucial. I don't think jeopardizing your chances at making the playoffs in the hopes of giving your newbies some "TV" experience is a good trade-off. If some newbies are absolute beasts in the practice house and just need some TV exposure to shake off the nerves, let them gain that experience in the individual leagues. If they're good enough, they'll prove it in the OSL/MSL. If they can't cut it there, why put them in a team Ace match and jeopardize the entire team? | ||
