I have to say: Riptide, your coverage of The Heritage League has been fuckin' awesome. I came late to the starcraft scene, and this series seriously adds tremendous depth and history to the game. I have to say I have a heightened (and in some cases new found) respect for 'those titans', and i must add, for you as a terrific writer.

Riptide, amazing writeup, man. Very moving and even for someone who was around to see the good ol' three bunker rush and (T)

The Emporer in his prime, it still brings a lot of memories and taught me a few things.

I think if this were a recurring league for older / retired players that it would be really sweet to watch. Not to say these old titans need a "handicap" to win.

Heritage leagues was one hell of an event to mark the end of the SC:BW age, as we move onto SC2...

if SC:BW died at all after SC2 :p

Honestly this summed up everything I felt about this league. It was so beautiful, so bittersweet, so nostalgic and epic. "Band of Brothers" is an appropriate allusion - this was like the show on the History Channel - modern portrayal of the epic battles of a time long gone. And, more literally, a band of brothers, united by status, experience, fame. Think about how long Boxer has been playing, how many emotional roller-coasters he has been through, how many tears shed, screams uttered, nights spent with no sleep... It just seems impossible that this is someone's JOB, someone's LIFE. And that he is still at it, as many of the others in this tournament are. Incredible. This article does not fail to accentuate many of these things - this is why this article is easily one of the best on TL. This needs to become a TL;FE, or some adaptation of this should be, so that months and years later, new members of TL will find it in what I think is the most prestigious of sections, the Final Edits.

That was an amazing write-up. This league will always be one of the best ever in my eyes due to being able to relive the memories, and not just because of the games.
