Ok, my thoughts on the whole series:
TeamLiquid vs. SC2GG
Game 1:  OneOther < Othello >  Deus_073
OneOther had the advantage for the entire game, being maxed for more than half of it. He couldn't convert his massive advantage into an actual win until the end, though, and deus put up a very good fight. Deus definitely is the best player from what I've seen on the SC2GG side today. Anyway, there were so many times in which OneOther could have just attacked in and won. But solid, conservative play from both sides.
Game 2: Hot_Bid < Blue Storm >  Cholera
Cholera seems to enjoy having one hat at each of his bases and building two Queen's Nests because he's just that awesome. HotBid just outplayed him. I'm surprised Cholera does the level of commentary he does when he's so bad at the game, but whatever, he does a good job.
Game 3: Carnac / Cow < Python > MrBitter / JWD
It's obvious SC2GG put a lot of time into this, figuring out the building placement for the cannon rush (probably on every base) and the timing. It was a very strong rush, of course, and personally I had expected Cow to counter into Bitter's base and just abandon Carnac. Still, Carnac should have glitched a probe over the minerals into the spot where the cannon would go, and both Probes would be trapped in there because of the gateway. And even if he didn't do that, he should have attacked the pylon sooner. Still, great defense from TL. And SC2GG fell apart after their trick didn't work. Hydralisk in a 2v2? lulz.
Game 4: DeadVessel < Chupung-Ryeong > Vaul
I actually did the same TvP concept against ghostclaw a while ago, but it was on a map that it could actually work on, Luna. Not that I'm any good at the game or anything, but even I had better control (and a more efficient build that only involved one Barracks) than he did. Still, it's not the best thing to do, especially after it's scouted. DV just completely outplayed him.
Game 5: Insane < Byzantium 2 > Delirium
Rape. A Shield Battery at the ramp, with two Zealots can hold just about any 2gate zeal rush. I'm not even kidding. Shield Batteries are so damn underrated, and it would've helped him a lot. The game was over by five minutes.
Game 6: Rage < Medusa > Psyonic_Reaver
I don't even know where to begin on this. Still, it's very difficult to micro Vultures against Zealots in extra high latency, so stop giving him shit. Psyonic Reaver for some reason did nothing against the proxy fac IN PLAIN VIEW. Also, Rage absolutely fails at walling. Ha  But incredible comeback play regardless....I still think that he should have anticipated the cannons, after seeing Reaver's Forge, and the fact that Medusa is a map where that can happen (kind of like Bifrost. Remember that?)
Game 7: Chill < Andromeda > Salv
Rape.

As to not building a cannon in my main base. I thought if he wanted to waste the minerals on a proxy fac. That's fine by me. I really didn't think he'd have the resources to make vults out of it.
