NonY is a manner guy...he is always talking up his opponents. He is honest about his determination and feel about the game, but that's not arrogance in the style of "I don't have to practice to win" Draco.

I for one am glad that we get more honest answers from some of the players. I'd prefer Draco tell us that he doesn't practice if he really doesn't, adds drama and it's being honest. Same with Idra. If he honestly believed he was top 4 material I'd like to hear it. What's the point of having interview questions like "What do you think of your opponent?" and "What do you think your chances are?" if you expect every player to answer with variations of the same damn thing. "My opponent is really strong, I'll do my best. <insert comment about luck>" and "Too hard to make predictions, but never over 50%" being the typical answers. If they are really modest people, fine, no problem with that. It characterizes them a bit and we get a good mental picture of the kind of person they are. Like we all associate Mondi with being really modest. However, quit bashing players that actually answer the damn questions how they honestly feel.

If you want everyone to be modest, just copy paste Mondi's interviews a few times and change some names. I almost want someone to say "The rest of these guys aren't on my skill level, this is going to be easy." just for some damn variety and to make things interesting. Having a villian around makes things more interesting.

That said, I'm rooting for Brat as the last Terran representative. All of the remaining for 4 are awesome though so I won't be disappointed no matter who wins.

Am I missing something?
Why is he picking protoss in singleplayer when testing out new maps?
I can see gateways has the same size as factories, but pylons dont match supply depots.

He knows the build orders and the counters and what he needs to do as a terran, but what would a protoss do on the new map that hes going to learn? That's the kind of information he wants to know. He's probably looking at possible strategies, lengths, flanking possibilities and any other minute details.
