I am a total noob, but in my opinion Alf lost the first game vs Spx metal because he lacked on macro. Not enough drones -> not enough lings. I think he could have had a much larger ling force to supplement his mutas and should not have allowed Spx to leave his base with such superior force. Alf expanded to fast without making drones as fast + Spx did a very very good timing push on his most important expo just after he had invested money in it but didn't get much back from. So he was caught offguard at the exact moment he was in his weakest. He was very bad econwise at that time and was just outrun by a larger army. He could have microed a lil better there too, but I think it was mostly macro. Am I right here or am I just talking crap? | ||
