Not everyone is good in every environment. Simply blindly putting out Code S players isn't going to win a team league.
Just because a player is in Code S doesn't mean they're going to be amazing in a different setting (like online tournaments or team leagues).
Look at Yonghwa. One of the most valuable teamleague players around...struggled for a while to even qualify for Code A.
Hell, look at HyuN. He was absolutely destroying literally any and all comers online in various tournaments and a streak in IPL fight club so long that people were joking they should just sponsor him by that point. Disappointed in GSL until his break out season end of 2012.
