Aww man breaks my heart.

When I started out with SC2 I had a hard time picking a race. I went random during all beta, focused on zerg mostly during release, but finally switched back to random not being completely satisfied with my choice. But when Jinro won his MLG my mind was made up - I was going to play Terran. I still remember that one crazy game between Jinro and Socke on that old school map, where Jinro had infantry, ghost, tank, building placements in strategic places... it was great (certainly not a typical TvP by today's standards).

Anyways, after all this time I'm still playing terran and sad to see Jinro go. Best of luck to you in the future man. /cheers

Thanks for all the games, Jinro. I remember games from BW on your FrozenArbiter tag of your macro PvZ with cannons/reavers/temps that amazed me. And I'll always remember that sexy tvz wall on scrap station into fast tank on ledge, among many other memorable games. You've been a great bastion of eSports across the globe. Oh, im kinda sad. ;( I never really liked terrans, but when i first saw jinro playing in GSL, reaching the semi finals, beating MC... That was awesome. The first terran i ever rooted to win a tournament. A really humble player and all the hype, pics about gorila terran, was just great. Well, good luck in whetever you want to do Jinro! ;D Best wishes and sorry about my english D:

One of the best memories i have of sc2 was jinro beating MC on lost temple close spawns with mech.

The Guillame Patry of Starcraft 2.

The very first tournament i watched was MLG Dallas 2010, when Liquid destroyed eveyrone left and right and Jinro won. I have been a fan ever since. Best of luck in the future!

I'm usually not a very emotional person but this almost had me tear up a little.
I can't say that I did or did not expect this - just because it wasn't something that I wasted any thoughts on. So what is unexpected for me is that I actually find myself giving a damn.

Jinro,

You have always been my favorite terran. You were an inspiration to watch in the GSL and you gave me the motivation to keep working whenever I felt like quitting.

This sucks, but it's understandable. You were a big inspiration during your prime when you got far in Code S a couple of times and doing well in other tournaments and leagues. I hope the best for you now that you have move on.
